BUNGIE, BUNGIE, BUNGIE...
You need to allow us to solo queue Sunless Cell on normal difficulty OR REMOVE THE "JOINING ALLIES" MECHANIC ENTIRELY so we can search for the collectables at our own pace!!!!
Every time I have loaded into this activity so far, one or both my fireteam members bomb through it as fast as they can, which leaves very little exploration time before the game "pulls me".
As it stands, it's either normal with a fireteam, or Grandmaster difficulty if you want to go in alone, and as much as I love GM's, I don't want to solo this brand new strike (to me, since I didn't play D1).

1 Replylow difficulty? why?, solo mode yeah
-
1 ReplyLow difficulty??

You can do normal solo, set your console clock a few days AHEAD and then launch the strike, after the matchmaking times out you will launch in solo and can explore at your own pace.

Edited by JD: 4/2/2025 7:51:32 PM????? They literally just appear on your radar as you go through lol. Half of them are in the first room basically. What you’re asking for is totally unnecessary. Wait I forgot it’s April fools this has to be a joke.

1 ReplyThe strike is low difficulty, even on gm it’s one of the easiest strikes

I played with two randoms yesterday and fortunately we took our time and we all looked around for the new fragments. We showed each other the fragment places and collected all the six fragments together then finished the strike. The last one we took in turns to collect because it was under the bridge part. That’s how fellow guardians should play.

5 RepliesYou can't take ten seconds to slightly deviate from the path?
-
1 ReplyAs others have mentioned - I just set my clock ahead and played through it at my own leisure.

Repeat after me : matchmaking options

1 ReplyJust sayin… me and my GM buddies went in with two of us totally blind (not having done the story version or any of the changes) and we almost beat it as a blind GM run. 🤷♂️

1 ReplyYou could load in on regular nightfall and just bump up the difficulty to expert as that too doesn't have match making, I know it's not a great solution but it works.

The Bungie Way.

1 ReplyI have joined mid strike multiple times... which I think is people leaving after being pulled by joining allies. I have 3 of the collectibles. We should NOT be searching for cellectibles in a matchmade activity (which even said that there is no matchmaking when launching the first time). Either remove the joining allies, or allow us to go solo. All strikes need a solo entry level power mode (Solo adept NF as well).

If this is supposed to be an April fools joke then you are late to the party with this.

3 RepliesCan someone tell me where the hell you even find this strike? It's the only reason why I'm booting the game back up in weeks and I can't find it anywhere.

Ya definitely a bad call to have forced matchmaking in story content it's already hard to follow the story with the voice overs being missing if someone goes too fast it skips dialogue and drags the players ahead....then add collectables and it's a perfect storm for misery...all missions especially the story should have a story/explorer difficulty and optional matchmaking....
-
1 ReplyI don't think it needs a specific version for this - the issue is that it's a requirement for two things right now; the osseous fragments and the intrinsic unlock, and the first one you want to take your time with, the second you just want to bomb through it. You can still grab the fragments in more than one run, and you might just be lucky enough to get teammates like the two I got last night (where one of them actually figured out I was going for the fragments and messaged me to go back because I'd missed a couple, even showing me where they were). If you're still insisting on soloing it you can always use the 'clock trick' on PC and PS, or the 'burner account' trick on Xbox to load into matchmade activities all by yourself.

1 ReplyIt has one. Launch it from the last city.

2 RepliesWhy does it need to be low difficulty? It's not exactly difficult. It's disappointing how non difficult it is.

1 ReplyThey glow on the map. suppose you can't find them. then they gun ain't meant for you.

3 RepliesEdited by amazing_month041: 4/2/2025 7:43:37 AMSame happened with Whetstone challenge: Someone wanted to do the Deep Dive Someone wanted to do exotic run Unfortunately until Frontier's players have to either use LFG or change back in-game clock on the PS or do the Xbox method ( i forgot how to do that one ) Edit: LFG was an option with the Wheatstone but after getting my exotic and when i tried to help others i met some toxic MF's

If you're on PS Settings - time and date. Change 2025 to 2026. I ran it solo yesterday to collect the fragments. Wasn't that bad on arc Warlock + geomags + delicate tomb.
