Redrix’s estoc and fusions in crucible
Anyone else absolutely sick of this gun being the only thing anyone uses in crucible right now? It’s not even fun anymore. Been playing destiny since D1 beta and I’ve never seen crucible in such a sad state. There’s absolutely no skill involved anymore. It’s just whoever has the best roll on a pulse rifle. It can be used close, mid, and long range and is more effective than any other weapon type. There isn’t really a way to combat it. Also everyone seems to just be using redrix’s and fusion rifles, which again requires no skill. It’s literally a 1 shot from ridiculous distance and unless you’re quick with a shotgun there’s not really any escaping it. Honestly bungie needs to rewrite the meta because this is worst it’s ever been in my opinion. Like when had cannons were the top meta I wasn’t as bothered because they actually required some element of skill to use. But pulse rifles and fusion rifles completely removes skill from the game where now the worst players are rewarded, and the players with any skill are left to either follow the meta (which I always avoid) or just give up. Although this is ridiculously annoying, I like to think I have some sense of honour by not just blindly following the meta. But then again I do sometimes think I could just dominate every game if I just gave in and used these stupid weapons. Anyone else feel the same?

1 ReplyHere’s the thing, if a player can learn in ONE match how OP this gun is, THEN Bungie can learn this before shipping it with a PLAYTEST! Bungie shipped this gun intentionally. Blame Bungie. The End!

2 RepliesYou want a solution to redrix? Work on your skill. Another solution....Crimil's Dagger, Jade Rabbit, idk...maybe get your own Redrix. I bet you most of these Redrix users have full auto turned on. Either way, if it wasn't a pulse, invis, fusions, or whatever you get killed by, it'll be something else y'all will cry about.

5 RepliesNo matter the meta, people like you will complain about it. If it was a specific sidearm and glaive, you would complain about it too once you don’t feel OP. Is it boring when there is a specific meta that works? Yes. Has this been going on since the beginning of Bungie time? Yes. Can you counter it if you’re a decent player? Yes. How long have you been playing this game and expecting different results?
