Not enough hate for Guardian Games
Everyone hates this event now more than ever, the drops, the game modes
Just about everything about this dumb event is

1 ReplyIt is actually the worst event they do in my opinion, even Solstice surprisingly beats it out, which I detest. Absolutely foolish idea to pit Class against Class as if one isn't much more popular than the other two, and its not even that close. Oh Bungie is going to "make it fair" by tipping the scales? No one trusts the behind-the-scenes-number-crunching business after the still recent discovery of perk weighting, unintentional or otherwise. (The pop-up last week definitely didn't help that either, though it's at least the 2nd or 3rd year in a row with that particular bug.) I [i]would[/i] praise the Rushdown gamemode (particularly as I really missed the final Splicer boss mission) however most of those fights are currently still available in-game, I found no difference in either of the three difficulty options, and most of the time my teammates had no idea how to run the encounter. It was nice to play the Quria fight again, but other than one or two runs, I was the only one moving the key to the spots to unlock the next damage phase, or doing over 50% of the damage numbers on most runs. Not to mention at least twice I joined in progress to runs that were seconds away from running out of time. I really wish they would make the event less about Class representation and more about the teamwork of all three, but maybe I am crazy. Also add more vaulted content to Rushdown instead of just 3 encounters.

It's that bad I've not even done the weekly 200 bright dust bounties lol & I always do them. Can't face supremacy, & most of those boss room, combined with players who don't know how to do them, 2000 dust would need to be the reward

I, normally, run all three classes so this class against class thing is total BS to me. This year I've been it solely for the shader. Although I do REALLY LIKE Rushdown because we get to run a few older content arenas we have not seen in ages. But I admit there's a certain hydra that when he's the last boss I truly hate Rushdown!!!

Well I am not everyone, but I sure do not engage much. Adopt a play what makes you happy “playstyle” and don’t engage with something you don’t like. Do this and I promise you will feel less of a need to post things like this with no factual or relevant criticism. How about post things or ways you would like to improve your adaptation of this gameplay!

The event is cool! I like rushdown... although getting top 10% score is a lottery as to how easy/hard it'll be on the day! Outbreak boss appears to be the most difficult, the taken hydra with the double shield thingy appears to be the most annoying... everything else is pretty chill, but helps if the team are all on the same page.

You're asking where the hate is. On a forum that is literally the Bungie complaint hotline, you're complaining about people not complaining. Maybe Bungie has done really well on content this season? Shock horror, I know. But I've personally got zero complaints about variety and amount of content. This GG event is way better than the usual copy and paste effort.

I must not be included with [i]everyone[/i] because I don't hate the event but more of being indifferent to it. Not a fan of the Boss-rush mode, but was nice to revisit some of the boss fights from activities no longer accessible. Not a fan of Trace Rifles, so there is no desire for me to chase different rolls. I already have rolls that I like of the older GG guns - so again there is not a need or desire to chase after new versions.

Dollars to donuts the "everybody" you claim hates the event, or any of the events for that matter, would go into a tailspin the moment Bungie stated they were getting rid of them.
