6 RepliesVarious Destiny 2 DLCs are currently on sale on Steam with Shadowkeep and Beyond Light each on sale for $1.99 (90% off), Lightfall for $2.99 (90% off) and Final Shape (without the Annual Pass) for $19.99 (60% off). There are currently no such sales for these individual DLCs on the PS, Xbox or Epic game stores, but they do happen on occasion so if your friend plays on one of those platforms they would do well to check back on occasion to see if they can pick them up at a discount.. 2 RepliesBungie usually makes all the old dlc free to play before a new release. They aren't permanently free, but you can complete the content in them, and anything you earn, you get to keep.

2 RepliesShadow keep & beyond light are both free now, have been for quite a long time.

Edited by GradeMyGuardianTTV: 3/21/2025 2:40:46 PMShadowkeep is worth the effort IF you want to pivot into a bit of Endgame PVE. You can farm high stat Armor from Pit of Heresy (will be obsolete come Frontiers). It has the best overall Kiosk & DLC Exotics for Endgame PVE- Witherhoard, Erianna's, Levianthan's Breath, Bastion, Fourth Horseman, Divinity & Xenophage. The Lectern of Enchantment gives you some farmable & passable Legendaries to round out your kit- One Small Step, Dream Breaker, & A Fine Memorial are all still viable to this day. I've long recommended pushing Shadowkeep out as your first interactions if you are going from F2P to P2P for these reasons. You can readily platform into Endgame with passable loadouts.
