There are some fairly potent boons to unlock during Act 2.
Unlocking them requires alternating between the Path of Resolve & Ambition and "playing" the Court of Blades.
Dunking is how you get them.
Dunking resources at the Taken altar by the start-up points (Rng).
1. Essentia
2. Sigil Shards once you unlock and pick that perk.
You might know this, but I'd thought I'd pass along the details.

11 RepliesI'm totally confused and uninterested in this season and last in terms of the buildcrafting they've introduced. (This season's story is great so far!) Last season was go find stuff to unlock tonics. Then, make tonics in a particular quantity to unlock the next higher level of tonic. It took me a while to figure out that tonics unlocked from the left to right for the next power up. The rightmost blue tonic would unlock a purple "in the middle" and anything to the right of that purple. Then the 2nd blue tonic would unlock another purple and anything to its right. All of the tonics need different stuff to make. Then, use tonics in tandem with perks from the artifact to make weapons/armour more powerful. Bleh. Not interested. This season, there are now two different paths you can select to have "active". I think I have the new quest to get the 2nd path? I'm not really sure, though. The quest just appeared in my quest log, and I'm somehow on step 2. I've had boosts unlock in the Tomb of Want, but I have no idea how they unlocked or how to actively chase one I want to tie into one of my perks from the artifact. I'm confused and frustrated. I've played Court once. Although I watched the livestream where they talked about how it worked, when I played it I felt like I was just running around hoping to kill stuff and not knowing how to clear objectives or pick appropriate buffs for the team. I know there's a difference between a masterworked weapon and the new fully enhanced weapon. I don't know if it's better to keep a previously masterworked weapon and not enhance it, enhance a weapon without putting anything into the masterwork, or masterwork then enhance a weapon. Probably, a lot of this is a me-issue with my limited gaming experience. It's just confusing and frustrating. If you've made it through the essay...thanks for reading my vent!

Edited by Phoenix1710: 3/20/2025 10:28:14 PMThanks for this. I had a feeling they were rng drops from the altar but you get so many drops when dunking I couldn't tell. I also didn't know about the sigil shards perk. I've been constantly maxed out on shards so I'll have to try that out.

OP: thanks for the info! 👌 I’ve just completed that sword/glaive triumph…and my focus was on getting it done ASAP and then bounce. 👈 These multi-boss mechanic-heavy pantheon-light games are not the natural environment for this stately old tortoise! 😎 I tried my best; and observed what teammates were doing, and did the same. I had some seriously strong teammates on a few rounds…on others, more tortoises than hares! 😁 Anyhoo, I got it done…in about a dozen runs. FWIW: Adepts / Shinies seem to be dropping more whilst doing Nether Explore and an odd run at N Expert (solo)…which I don’t ever do. Caveat: It also might be just in my imagination, too?! 😉 That is all. Ease Springs! 🫡 MDGA
