Fix the damned pinnacle grind
I am usually waiting on one engram for weeks. This season, it's two.
This whole issue has been years in the making and it's absurd.
STOP WASTING OUR TIME.
This is BS.

They should just stop increasing the power cap its a redundant system now that everything has a effective power cap anyway.

4 RepliesThe sad part about this is that pvp actually rewards higher level gear more often, as opposed to pve. So you have to play the worst part of the game to get upgraded gear quicker.

Others and I have mentioned a solution like we had in D1. Tokens or engrams we can select what we want. We earn a pinnacle token/engram that we can go to Rahool to decrypt for specific armor/class Item category and Banshee for specific weapon category. Still capped at how many pinnacles drop a week from activities. Heck just doing it for strikes/gambit/crucible only for “pinnacle tokens.” Even if we had 3-6 a week we could control the pinnacle leveling to a degree.

hold on,are you actualy doing pinnacles? I stopped doing pinnacles for many season ago,pwr is just a number. and with how strong arc is now u dont even need power. master lost sectors is a joke even if u are 25-30 pwr below it

I don't get it. No one is wasting my time. Agreed that this is BS. Grown people or young adults can't take responsibility for their own actions.

If you don't pay attention to it or chase it, you'll hit cap no issue.

U are the one wasting ur time tbh. You chase something 100% useless that you KNOW will be changed a few months later. If you are missing like 2 pieces it means you are +9 already. Its above whats requiered anywhere in the game. Youll be fine, youll get these 2 armors one day or not anyways.

Bungie: We consider the Pinnacle grind “Content”. If this was any other franchise, their player-base wouldn’t put up with it and the studio would change it. It’s Marathon or bust for Bungo.

I don't think they'll ever fix it as it's intentional. Their code knows what you're waiting on and you won't get it until you put in enough hours. 🤬🤬🤬

Don't bother. With Fire team Balancing and every activity having Level Caps, Power Level means next to nothing anymore in this game. Just another arbitrary factor Bungie expects players to chase every Season.

I have to say I found it absolutely a cakewalk making to the cap. Perhaps it’s because I’ve three alts and I note that a top pinnacle for one counts for the other two now as well.

2 RepliesI wouldn't worry about the pinnacle grind unless they let us overlevel in all content like we should be able to. No point in having a level system if everything either disables level advantages, caps you 50-70 below your level, or cap you 25 below the enemy, especially when you consider fireteam level boosts.
