Laggy in game UI.
Has the game been noticeably laggy/delayed here and there more than usual for anyone else?
I’ve noticed it the past few days while equipping weapons, dismantling etc..

It's not just the UI. Ever since the last weekly update on March 4th there has also been slight in game latency/delay during game play that didn't exist before.

1 ReplyBungies entire network is on the same servers, even this app & even the app is very very laggy, often taking seconds to open,,if I make a post it kinda does nothing for 2 seconds then posts, often loads blank pages & says I've no internett, picking up bounties takes forever, half the time lfg invites don't send. Ever notice there's damage delay too? Go to a patrol zone, equip an SMG & do some finishers on basic ads, you shoot & take 3/4 of their health to then finish, but no icon, so you shoot again but the health drops before you shoot & they die. If you watch the bar it ticks twice, so you'll do 50% then a sec later it'll take another 20%, been like this for a minute.

I've been having problems with viewing shaders on weapons and armor ECT...it just blanks out or won't load shader previews...it's the worst in the vault The perks won't even show sometimes and it's aggravating when I am shuffling guns or comparing rolls....

It’s gotten so bad that I’ve barely been playing this episode. Every other game I play is snappy and responsive but I jump on D2 and I can’t even inspect another guardian and I’m on Series X. If Frontiers is gonna stand a chance they need to do a LOT of maintenance on the backend.

Yeah, I'd guess they've added more server delay for stability. It feels like PS3 days when everything barely worked

I crashed yesterday swapping a shader on a weapon, but the whole UI was lagging out as I was checking a few out. In general, the UI has been delayed at times and then it feels like it catches up. I open my character, and all slots are blank for 5-10s before it loads in. Usually the first time opening the character after launching something or completing an activity. Occasionally I cant launch an activity, green bar appears but I cant click it. I then need to open character menu, wait for it to load, then I can launch the activity.

yes its noticeable in the UI and API UI > 1 example is pathfinder circles delayed reaction API > DIM takes a while to load for me on PC I switch to vendor from inventory and it helps it a bit ...nothin terrible but maybe a worrisome system sign... -
Edited by Prowler690: 3/6/2025 10:40:20 PMYes, actions having an occasional delay, jittery cursor movement across the screen. Seems to have been creeping in over the past few months. I thought I was getting controller drift but all other games are fine. I have DIM open on a laptop as I play and that is also taking a long time to log in with operations sometimes needing to be repeated, icons returning to where they were despite having moved. Bungie's house of cards code is having some wobbles.
