Can't Masterwork a Weapon after Enhancing it.
Hey. I don't really use Forums like this at all. So apologies if I'm doing something incorrectly.
Couldn't find out how to post images of the issue either. Don't see a way to add attachments.
I recently enhanced a gun without masterworking it first, since I noticed I could and thought it might save me resources to do so.
After working it's level all the way up - an Adamantite with Slice and Tear, *might* have been from the Season Pass but idk if those are fixed rolls or not - and enhancing both columns I noticed an issue.
Normally, the Gun goes back to being Masterworked with the Border.
Because I never did that, I guess it didn't get Masterworked.
Now, I can't masterwork it. Because the button to do so is missing entirely.

Edited by BNGHelp3: 3/1/2025 8:12:48 PMThat's not the reason. There's a bug with new weapons/reprised weapons alongside the new perks causing them to not display the Masterwork visual. When you enhance a weapon the masterwork it dropped with gets maxed out on the gun anyways, regardless of what level you had it at prior to enhancing.

1 ReplyI have the issue with multiple weapons from this season, Palindrome, weapons from the new Dungeon, as well from the Nether. All of them were fully masterworked before fully enhancing them though so that is not the issue, something else is causing the lack of the ”golden border” visual.

This is a known issue that Bungie is still investigating. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon.
