Invis pulse fusions trials meta nice job Bungie lol

    • Invisibility is a real pain. Sometimes you can see a purple Predator outline heading your way and other times they're 100% invisible. The only time I can see em is if I use Eye of Another World and they're either using invisibility or have their super charged.

      its really just one aspect of dev balancing that has caused all these issues. someone at bungie is convinced that releasing very broken weapons and subclasses is somehow good for the player engagement statistics and player retention when it is very certainly not. the reason why pulses are broken and overused right now is because of the new perk lone wofl being by far the best pvp perk in the game giving half of snap shot 20 aim assist and twice the ae of extended mag for simply not teamshotting with it. and bungie put this broken perk on the weapons they clearly want to drive the most fomo/player engagement statistics with. stay frosty redrix exalted truth keen thistle etc. and of these weapons those that especially become game breaking with this perk are doing just so. 17% usage rate of redrix this weekend compared to 2% of bxr. the reason why fusions are broken is the same thing except with a different perk that also does not belong on the guns it it can roll on. zealots reward is a rapid fire fusion that with closing time does not recieve damage fall off until 19.20 meters and same with plug 1 and glacio. all 3 being player engagement drivers. the reason why void hunter is broken is because it has completely flown under the radar with how broken fomo prismatic used to be before nerfs. the sublcass has needed nerfs for a long time now except since bungie released prismatic subclasses in the absolute broken state they used to be to drive short term gains in player engagement, the other broken subclasses have been completely missed is usage rate statistics (which bungie commonly uses to proper gage game balancing). the issue with the meta (same with the elsies meta last season) is bungie (demonstrated by their weapon/subclass design) believes that driving small gains in momentary player engagement is far more benificial than longterm player retention through standing game quality. once this naive game design philosophy has taken enough of a toll on the videogame will they figure out how awful it is. until then enjoy the 100aa half of snapshot 40+ ae monster that is lone wofl redrix paired with the 19.20m 540 zealots both hitting you from a radar and visually cloaked cheese machine punching much higher stats than they deserve.

          • You just really can't "adapt" to anything, can you? Just always complaining about something in the game that most don't have an issue countering or not a lot of people are actually using.
