Redrix accounts for 25% of all Trials kills at this point in the weekend. Post nerf. Previously 17.8% Khvostov ended week 178 with 24% Fools here are denying how broken it remains and only a few feel like debating them. I completely understand why. 1 ReplyIt's not bad. But I still prefer my Taraxippos. Or other weapons. Nerfs are most often unnecessary and detrimental.
-
7 RepliesThis game has such a skill issue it isn’t even funny. One change to the meta you guys cry nerf. No wonder this games pvp is -blam!- dead 😂
-
At last, there will be balance in the sandbox for the foreseeable future. The best thing about nerfs is, there is never a new meta just around the bend to replace it. Despite the fact this team is a shadow of what their prime Halo team was - it’s still Bungie. To think they can’t achieve balance is silly. They very deliberately create metas to incentivize endless hours of grinding. I am sure you’ll be just as upset with the next gun that kills you 😂
-
16 RepliesSo basically don't play comp cause we'll nerf those weapons anyway eventually. Got it . This community hates anything not a handcannon or shotgun
-
2 RepliesThe damn cry babies always get there way. Story of the world we live in!
-
22 RepliesThat’s a shame, guess all those that claimed to love movement and aggressive play only love it when it’s with a beloved hand cannon…
-
3 RepliesThere will be something new in act 2 for you to cry about. I promise. You people are -blam!- ridiculous
-
It's crazy to see that some people only did enough comp to get the gun because it was broken, and are angry at the nerfs even though the gun was outclassing TOO much stuff. I mean I get it, nobody likes their fun taken away, but remember the crafting glitch, Anyone could do it any way they liked. Redrix, well, you do it the redrix way or no way. And what would they say if redrix was instead kept the same, and everything else instead raised so that it was no longer special, or an outlier, just as good as everything else, but not because it became worse, but because everything else was made better?

Edited by Raven: 2/28/2025 6:52:28 PMIt's funny how you can tell the people who used it just by the anger in their messages 😂😂

stinker

Where is the info?

5 RepliesDude, people are just pathetic! I understand it’s good rn, but everyone is using it in quick play too. WTF? You can’t even try to use different weapons. Usually in control, clash, IB I’m running a hand cannon for primary paired with sniper as I’m not that good with it and want to practice. Impossible! 4-5 kills per game. Always against 3 players spamming with that new pulse. The second I switch to pulse my performance dramatically changes for much better. It’s that easy to use.
-
2 RepliesPlease be true. Haven’t seen any posts confirming this. Fusions and slugs next hopefully.
-
I ground it out and got redrix…. Overhyped and back in vault. Have to say the pulse that I seemed to encounter most was outbreak but there ya go.
-
I actually liked this pulse meta. Just throw on Outbreak and some good mods and you’re all set. Sure Redrix probably needed a nerf but I don’t think it’s indicative of where all lightweight pulses are. Felt like I could beat anyone with good shots on Outbreak and lose when I missed mine, simple as that. Fighting a god-tier hand cannon user was typically a 50/50 outcome and shotguns and fusions fluctuate on which one won depending on positioning and range. I hope the pulse nerf doesn’t revert it all back to hand cannons being the only good thing in terms of primaries cause crucible feels fairly balanced at the moment, what matters most is playing your angle, being patient, and landing shots

1 ReplyWhere's this info?

Glad I didn't bother trying for it then.

What was the nerf?
-
The gun isn't even that great, people just can't adjust.

1 ReplyEdited by Griever: 2/28/2025 7:02:26 PMWow... A nerf to sword Logic which I can guarantee isn't strictly because of Redrix (it's basically a better kill clip), a nerf to it's handling which if anyone actually cares about they can just put on a dexterity and targeting mod, and slightly rolling back the damage buff ALL lightweight frames (which Redrix and BXR count as) got. Buddy, if Redrix was actually the problem, they'd nerf it and only it, not a perk available on multiple weapons and a damage buff that applied to an entire archetype, and wtf cares about handling THAT much? They're not nerfing the aim assist either because that it's already lower than the BXR, so it would be more logical to nerf Lone Wolf instead, and even that is a poor decision nerfing a perk available on multiple weapons because a single weapon that was MEANT to be good benefited a bit from it. Besides, all comp weapons, whether it's through perks, stats, or being a special archetype, should be a cut above the rest. And unless they want to improve the RNG, add perks, or reroll them, they're not nerfing the range or stability either because that would only make it almost exactly like the BXR.
-
Ah, cool, now i dont need to suffer comp anymore. Glad to hear it.
