There’s a lot of stuff that doesn’t work with what they should for no reason tbh. Like ionic sentry doesn’t work with grenade stuff even though it basically is warlocks version of gunpowder. Like it uses verity stacks but doesn’t get the damage bump, stuff like that

Honestly they should just make it count fully as a class ability, this and Ensnaring slam. Other aspects count as their respective ability slots (and some even outside the ability slots they trigger off, such as Arc souls counting as grenades even if they are cast off the rift). I think Bungie are scared to do it with Hunters because of just how overpowered it would be. Winters Shroud and Ascension, for example, would become a particularly potent combo if it was allowed, and Withering Blades, Gambler's and Ascension already is for someone with decent aim.
