Dares of eternity revamp?
Bungie it was useful for a little bit, you’ve got serious potential for it right about now if you make focusing engrams specifically from it an option now with any weeks seasonal weapon/armor pool shifting accordingly. Its system is way too poor to be worth running normally anymore in my opinion, with the difficulty being laughable for what rewards you get. Please continue innovating Xur through dares with how that works if you could, dares is definitely in a worse state than gambit right now. Thank you for the read👍🏻

Previous weapons that are still relatively new should be shipped in this activity on the weekly. Xur should be able to focus certain weapons. Should give a Pinnacle like it used to. Make things relevant again.

I'd like a totally new one but still with Xur and Sparklepony. Like new encounters/locales, but same deal. Could be fun. Other than that idk what kind of loot changes they could make that wouldn't step on other activities' toes and would make people actually want to play it. Most of us crafted what we wanted and got forerunner a long time ago. I got sick to death of that mode even before they made the anniversary weapons craftavle, then had to re-farm it a hundred more times for red borders, so I'm never going back to that mode no matter what they do! Adding a chance at prophecy weapons would be awesome but doubtful, it's not like they're as strong as they used to be though. Some of us still haven't gotten their desired rolls because that dungeon (like all dungeons) drops way too much armor. Weightgate absolutely still exists and will never go anywhere.

2 RepliesAgree it hasn’t evolved in a while and the loot is barely ok. I used to like it but eventually got bored of always running the same 3 encounters for the same loot. Still worth to get forerunner at least.

Maybe they could also send you to certain areas from the current season for each encounter. Could definitely change it up.

I used to run it a few times every reset for the pinnacle, but they removed that also so effectively killed it off. 🤷
