Allows peoples to get another crack at it, allows those that missed the launch weekend a crack at it, allows Bungie employees who can’t participate in the day one contests a crack at it, & it allows more people to make attempts and practice at contest level. It’s some of the best content in the game and if the emblem/prestige of clearing it day one is too special to some people - just make two emblems. One for day one, one for contest. Since most people just watches streamers & use their strats on day one - I don’t really see the issue or the point of that tho.
