Trinity Ghoul and Ticcuu’s Divination
Both of these exotics are left collecting dust because they don’t have access to 3.0 verbs. So many legendary weapons have volt shot and scorch. It always seemed like Trinity ghoul was the basis for volt shot and Ticcuu’s divination was the basis for scorch. It doesn’t make sense not to give them to these weapons. Also Trinity ghoul needs a bolt charge mechanic.

It would be a functional nerf if they replaced these actions with 3.0 verbs. Jolt only deals around 10k damage in pve and I believe can only chain to 3 targets. Scorch and ignitions just got nerfed last season against bosses, not to mention it doesn't chain explosions like ticcus can. Also ignitions do significantly less than what ticcus can stack up to. So as cool as it sounds, it would be bad. They'd have to heavily tune these weapons to keep them as functional without nerfing them.

Agree with Trinity applying jolt. But letting Ticuu apply scorch would invalidate it's gameplay loop of alternating how you shoot it. They want you to be using the hipfire shot and not just spamming aimed shot at a target you threw a solar grenade at.

2 RepliesBoth weapons are still quite good. Let's focus on weapons like jade rabbit which is literally just a scout rifle with no exotic perk in PvE.

Ticuu's arrows need to change to scorch on hipfire and igniting any scorched target instantly on a hit with an ADS arrow. That way it still retains its identity and would still make it unique from Tyranny of Heaven, which is essentially a better single shot Ticuu's right now if crafted with Dragonfly and Incandescent. Trinity Ghoul either needs Voltshot or Lightning Rod needs to have Jolt built into it.

Ticuu's need incandescent badly or a way to scorch I love all the elemental exotic bows but some are definitely lacking, doesn't help that bows also rarely shine anywhere in the game. You have to play a very specific way just to get most to work

Healthier alternatives with [i]new[/i] synergy. Likewise, [i]Ticcus[/i] [b]doesn't[/b] need to procc [i]Ignitions[/i] or [i]Scorch[/i]. Instead they could allow it to procc [i]Radiance[/i]. Those are just my takes. We don't need to oversaturate the strongest verbs, which inherently downplays Legendaries or chasing new roles. Instead we need to bolster the Verbage that is lacking.

2 RepliesI normally don’t like the “let’s slap a 3.0 verb/perk on a gun and call it good” that a lot of people post on here. But letting Trinity Ghoul gain Bolt Charge on chain lightning multi-kills would be great. For Ticuu I’d prefer something where if you get to max stacks it also gives you radiant instead, since we have so few radiant sources

Yes in every way. It's most likely the reason why they never see the love they deserve. Take a look at Bolt Charge. It is literally Cloudstrike's perk as an Arc verb now.

Agreed, verbs are just too important for buildcrafting nowadays, and adding Jolt to Trinity and Scorch to Ticuu's would let them be viable with 3.0 subclasses, while not really changing their actual power much and causing any powercreep.

I still love Trinity Ghoul. It just needs the catalyst to function, otherwise you'd better be good at getting headshots. I can concur, though.

1 ReplyTrinity ghoul multi kills should stack bolt charge and crits at max bolt charge should discharge a bolt charge lighting bolt on top of Trinity ghouls chain lighting.
