Defeat a priority target to create a weakening + Invis Cloud, like what we can already do with our Snare Bomb and Trapper’s Ambush???
So really, all it is is a weapon stat buff and enhanced ability cooldowns, which really has to make a big difference or this entire Aspect is just a complete waste of an Aspect slot.
Like genuinely why would we use this over the other Void Hunter Aspects?
Compare that to Titan’s getting to really use the amazing new Bolt Charge mechanic with their barricade, or Warlock’s getting an Arc turret
They actually get new stuff, while we Hunters just get something we can ALREADY DO with another, better Aspect. And for an Aspect to buff weapon stats and ability cooldowns, it has a be a big buff to make it worth the slot.
EDIT: Just tested it, and ye, the ability cooldown it gives is hardly even noticeable. Like, bruh, what an immensely useless Aspect.
To really put into detail how bad this Aspect is:
You have to kill a RANDOM enemy, which could be very troublesome in endgame activities, THEN you have to run over that enemy’s corpse to actually get the buff, which is even more troublesome in endgame activities.
Why do all that when you can just use your Dodge Ability with Vanishing Step, or chuck a Snare Bomb at your feet with Trapper’s Ambush?
You also can’t even decide where the weakening cloud goes like you can with a Snare Bomb.
And like I said, the ability cooldown buff is next to unnoticeable, and it was the only saving grace this Aspect could have had.
Only way I can see it being viable is if you manage to constantly chain priority targets and smoke clouds.

2 RepliesThe new aspect pairs PERFECTLY with Stylish Executioner and Gyrfalcon's. It overrides the debuff timer from going invisible again from Stylish Executioner so you still get the buffs from Stylish without needing to wait for the debuff timer. It's all I've been running for Nether since it dropped. I've tried other builds but nothing is as fun as this is.

Edited by ΞsnΛχΞ: 2/21/2025 5:30:55 AMNooo haven’t you seen the YouTube videos??? OMG VOID HUNTER IS BACK!!!! THIS IS SO BROKEN!!!! BUNGIE IS GONNA NERF THIS!!!! THIS BUILD DESTROYS THE CRUCIBLE!!!!! “Heeeyyyy it’s ya boy Useless McUnemployed and today I have yet another pointless build to hype that my gameplay will suggest is good but only because I play 20 hrs a day and can make anything work. So let’s do this!!”
-
Pretty good in PvP. Especially threes with triple void hunter it starts getting crazy
-
2 RepliesIn PvE it's definitly a non-option, as you said it other aspects can do the same but better But in PvP this as to be one of, if not, the most broken things I've seen in term of aspect. Smoke bomb is IMO oppressive as a melee, it slows (both you and your weapons) ,weaken, blinds and deal DoT and since the new aspect allow you to transform an opponent into a smoke bomb which can make you and your teammates invisible. It can be oppressive as an aspect in PvP

3 RepliesAh salty hunter main using radiant dance machines what else to expect. Hunters can be at the bottom of the barrel where they belong.
-
2 RepliesIt's much more useful in PvP for sure. The amount of Invisibility Hunters recently is annoyingly insane.
-
1 ReplyIt would’ve been nice on launch with void 3.0. I think it could be fun, but throw it in with the other classes getting 2 strong arc aspects I think it was just bad move. We have an arc/strand season with a touch of void this season and the void mods are towards our weapons mainly. It just has no place in the current season/meta
-
I use it simply because it's the only void aspect that gives 3 fragment slots.
-
17 RepliesAll trade you my dogshit turret. What do you want? We have two two healing turrets, two arc turrets, a stasis turret, a turret that burns! There's no creativity for warlocks! I bet we get some dumb -blam!- void turret next. With no new ways to play the game. Id love a devour aspect that grants stacks of devour, which increases Melee, weapons, and movement speed!

Edited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 2/19/2025 3:04:14 PMIt kind of feels like this is what Khepri’s Sting should be made to do, and then we need a different aspect. Or it just needs to be different or better for PvP.
-
My buff would be something like: - Marked PvE combatants take 25% increased Void damage. - Entering a smoke plume grants a period of increased grenade and melee regen. (+10% PvP, +40% everywhere else)
-
2 RepliesAre you using with a build? I can link you the build I use, it’s great for add clear and survivability.
-
I kinda always knew it was gonna be trash, but I guess they thought “hey if we bring a new omni skin they would put two and two together” but forget that omni doesn’t need that There is literally no use for this thing apart from being able to put invis anywhere on the map.. at random, meaning it still sucks What it should have done is buff spectral blades as they have done something like that with titans and bubble

3 RepliesIts took them 3 years to program that aspect in ! Be grateful ! Someone ad to work 2 minute every month for 3 whole years for this ! Thats dedication ! What ? Realy ? A AI can program this in 0.2 second ? At least eververse is not bugged thats what important... (i fully expect to get banned for this joke)

I'd rather use Flawless Execution again. That ability was fun as hell. Screw Stylish Executioner, give me my Forsaken power back. I'm sure there's some stuff on the other classes people feel similar about.

Guardian, Archon Of LightArchon Priest Of House Light - old
Hunters should have got an Arc fragment What about "Arc Storm, sustained damage with your Arc super generates boltshot at the targets location -
I didn't even know there was a new aspect, how would I?
-
It’s actually quite fun in PvP and can cause chaos easily. When it sets up and pops off it got me bagged repeatedly so it must be annoying to play against (though I haven’t gone against it yet to know the other side). I wouldn’t choose it for PvE though. Doesn’t set up with my builds much at all.

Edited by Verke0: 2/19/2025 12:12:11 PMCant help it, but i really enjoy this aspect. I feel like a ninja and it pairs well with double edged answer (repulsor brace, assassins blade), Bastion, and Gwisin Vest. It makes you a walking smoke bomb basically.
-
I haven't used it in any high-end content, and it's not going to immediately help you solo anything crazy if you aren't already a beast at the game. I think there will be gm potential, but you'll have to play in shotgun/sword range, which is super risky behavior, and i don't know if the reward will be worth that risk. They should lean more into the team aspect. When teamates kill the target, the cloud still appears and turns them invisible. Not for pvp, obviously. But as it stands, if I want to help teammates, this is the worst, most convoluted way to do it. I can already just throw a smoke bomb at them. It would be so cool if having a void hunter on your team would allow people to play around invisibility. Even if it means a much harder activation criteria. Like imagine if a hunter could choose the target for teamates to kill. You could have super aggressive play being facilitated by a guy in the shadows keeping his team alive via invisibility. A paragrine titan could nuke a champ and turn invisible from it. So many cool possibilities, and yet we have just another selfish hunter aspect that can only help the team by accident.
-
It's more of a PVP thing. It's not like you'll consistently be proccing Stylish Executioner in pvp unless you're literally built for it like having Withering Gaze, Destabilizing Rounds/ Gyrfalcon, or weaken grenades up all the time. If anything, it makes me wish we could use 3 aspects.
-
It's okay. It's not great, but it's not bad.
-
Yeah. Warlocks and Titan definitely got the cream this time around. Spectral blades… 😂
-
Yeah it's awful. Hope they rework it completely.
