Cabal empire is comprised of many species
But where are they?
We only see Cabal and Psion
I guess we’ll meet them in the future but it’s a missed opportunity that the cabal faction didn’t have more races in it

Edit: guys war beasts are cabal pets, I’m referring to the supposed countless intelligent species that the Cabal have conquered and made part of the cabal empire

1 ReplyWhat if they are some of the dread? It’s blatantly obvious that the stasis and strand ads (can’t remember the names) are scions, so maybe Xivu captured others and brought them to the Whitness? Perhaps Husks and the bats (can’t read the name because they don’t stop moving) used to be under cabal rule. I’m probably wrong, I can’t be bothered to read all of the lore though

Had an empire, you mean. The main army is broken, the home planet and system is lost and what remains of their leadership is in Sol. Whatever local forces are in each controlled system will either return home to try and save it and be killed Or Stay where they are and become little fiefdoms I don’t they’ll make a new enemy species with a skeleton crew. Otherwise I’d suggest some Darkness dealing to gain power and overthrow the Cabal as an option too.

They killed the rest off and conquered most of the galaxy, hence all the races Emperor Calus came across and offered to join the empire, or die.

It would be cool to see them in game. There were some aboard the Leviathan; Sindu, Clipse and Arkborn, but theres been no mention of them in years

3 RepliesMaybe when we go to the cabal home world, we can see the other species plus I always thought the same thing for the taken, pretty sure oryx took other species before he went to sol. If I remember correctly he took some sort of bird like creature and made it kill the rest of its species

Always wondered how the Cabal would fare against the covenant. The covenant remind me of a mix of the fallen and the cabal. The cabal being brutes and eliksni being sangheili

Dev reason it's a lot of work to make multiple races and lore ect. In lore reason most scattered or destroyed by the hive

Edit: Did some research sounds like there are 2 species left we haven't seen. 1 is a none physical species and the other are the pilots of the cabal ships. The 3rd species under the cabal we haven't seen is likely extinct.
