Armor drops in Trials
50+ wins, most on a Flawless Passage (7-streak) card, and the armor drops that are supposed to be a 25% drop rate feel exceedingly rare. Looking at the rewards chart, I certainly appreciate that there’s lot of drops I should be getting in terms of materials, but as an end-game player I’m almost always capped, so instead it’s a ton of adepts I don’t need and hours upon hours of not getting the armor to drop. Can we either increase that % chance, or make sure it’s working properly?

You should be able to buy a piece that hasn’t dropped yet for like 5 trials engrams. I made a post about this too. X3 lighthouse, 20engrams, and about 50 matches later and I’ll I got was the chest piece and boots. After 7 hours of grinding it’s not rewarding at all. I’m not even a PvP player i probably have less than a 1kd, so this is awful trying to atleast get the hunter helmet and cloak that i wanted. Could care less about the guns, pretty much dismantled all of them, even the adepts.

1 ReplyI must have played over 30 matches before getting another armor drop only for it to be a duplicate. 10+ years and they still waste our time with this BS, gee I wonder why your player base hates you.

Yup. Went flawless, 7 wins no losses. Still playing. Still need helmet and gauntlets for my Hunter.

All to secure that play time inflation for them. For you to have 50+ wins ....that's a lot of dedicated time to playing. It's right up their alley.

Never going for a flawless lighthouse passage again. I have better chances of getting the armor from regular lighthouse passages. I'm soooo tired of getting the same crap handcannon and nothing else.. i just want that damn armor ffs.

I was just waiting on the chest piece, just splurged 18 engrams and got multiple masks, arms, legs and cloaks but no chest ... total joke, F U bungie.

Can we get trials artifice while we're at it, only one set of the armor is worth it to me rn and that's just to unlock for transmig if I bother.

6 RepliesI had 4/5 pieces after one run. Then, proceeded to dump a billion engrams before getting the arms. I thought they were bugged, but it is just my bad luck.

Run the challenges on the Trials of Osiris card first, the do your Lighthouse Card. That's going to be the only sure way to get armor each week.

FYI: just finished my Trials experiment…did the 50-point bounty on my W - took about 3x matches, then switched to my H to grind out some bounties, reset Trials rank - only a few levels needed; and see if I could get the H cat mask (x2 from burning 20+ engrams) and the cloak (❌). I also dropped 2x pairs of cat boots - one ‘in game’ drop, and one from an engram. And I got the new Trials lid for my W from an ‘in game’ or end game drop. Some of the extra weapons were mediocre at best…with maybe a keeper here or there. I had some good games and some not…par for the course, methinks, so, nothing to report here; although there were some very SUS creatures doing space ninja stuff…it surely must be lag / latency…’cause - what else could it be?! 😉 Anyhoo, that’s me done! I posted a thread ‘My Trials Experiment is Over’, in which I give this old 0.3% tortoise’s POV on this new Trials event. It’s probably buried in the New section by now…this is just an fyi…👻 That is all. Ease Springs! 🫡 MDGA

I was considering giving it a shot just for the sake of the armor - and I'm typically staying the hell away from all forms of PvP - but after reading I'm just going to put that on hold.

Should be Artifice armour imo. The higher the win streak the better the stat distribution.

1 ReplyYeah I was kinda pissed when I saw that the only way to get the new armor is from the Lighthouse chest and the 2 pinnacle challenges. So any engrams you get are useless for the armor

Yes. I got both the ship and the bike but still have got the warlock chest to drop. Turned in 20 balls but they are all weapons wtf….
