There should be a pity system for Raid Exotics
I now finally after 84 years decided to chase the Mythoclast(can't just say Vex anymore because of the Glaive)
And with 3 boosts active still nothing, although I know I still probably have a long way to go, and should probably do more triumphs to increase the buff
But should it come down to blind luck ?, what if each raid completion you got an exotic token , and you could use a x amount of exotic tokens to buy the exotic from the kiosk at the end of the raid, where you buy red borders from ?

That’s 3 weeks worth of clears…

I think if it hadn't dropped already for a Guardian, then a flawless raid should guarantee the exotic.

The raid has a pity system but its only on full clears your chances increase. Not checkpoints

I say exotics should be guaranteed after 21 full looted runs. 2 months is a long enough chase.

I think they should have the dungeon and raid exotics done the way they handled Necrochasm. There's still the rng of getting everything you need in one run, but you also know that after x clears you're gonna get it.

5 RepliesNah it shouldn’t be like that.. especially for older raids. Players need to chase the exotic. I had the mythoclast dropped long ago during a featured raid week. During featured week, keep farming Atheon. Look for a group that one phasing atheon verity brow and withing 2-3 hours you will get the exotic

You’re not missing out on anything, it’s been nerfd into being an average PvP weapon. And it’s nothing special in pve.

9 RepliesYou have 9 clears dude, There are people whom it took up to 80 clears to get the exotic. It is probably the easiest raid, so keep grinding. If there should be a pity system then it should activate at 50 clears, not 5.

How long were you drifting in the vault of glass before you got Mythoclast? 52 years (runs)

For Vex, there should definitely be a pity system. That super rare drop has been a part of the game forever now, hopefully you get lucky your next run though!
