I genuinely apologize that I'm not much help in trials. I truly mean it. Im sorry. I'm just playing for whatever I can get.
There's nothing I can do about it. I have disabilities from a tbi. I can't play any better. Screaming at me over the mic won't help me play better. Sending me nasty messages won't help me play better.
I know you want to win. I'm doing the best I can. I promise, I really am.
I'll lose over and over for the xp and whatever else I can get. But I really am trying to help you win, even if it doesn't seem that way.

Just select Titan, equip the bolt charge aspect and hide behind a barricade the whole time. Works for every Titan I have encountered this weekend 😂

It's totally fine man and if I hear one of these little gimps speaking to you or anyone else that way, I always happily tell them where to go. I tend to stay muted until I hear some little virgin whinging because he lost.

Edited by Scourged One: 2/16/2025 10:12:48 PMMute the idiots and game on, brotha. Humans are pretty terrible animals. Try to ignore as many of us as you can, do what makes YOU happy and try to stop worrying about some Ego-Kid fretting about his imaginary skill numbers. Heck I've lost a few games because I can't win 5 1v3s in a row lol. Some of my randoms have been just terrible... I lost a game with 9 kills and a 1.52. 2nd on my team had 2 kills with a .03. 3rd guy did nothing but die. They were trying though, learned to stick with me and help, we lost 4-5 when we were down 3-0. I wasn't angry. They tried, we lost, life goes on. 👍

Edited by goldy411: 2/16/2025 11:12:40 PMIf you keep trying and being positive no need to think about those hateful comments. It’s people who are miserable and think they will feel better by spreading it to other people but it doesn’t, they feel worse and perpetuate the cycle.

Most people don't realize or care who they're playing with. I don't have a tbi, but all of my fingers on my right hand are gone, stemming from a motorcycle accident years ago. I'm never going to be able to play like other "normal" people, but I have fun, and I always try my best. Hang in there, and don't let sh!tty people drag you down.

No need to apologize, practice makes perfect. The more you play pvp in general you learn the maps, the spawns, and how to engage in firefights. Keep your eyes on the radar, work with your team, and know when to push in with your team to take advantage of certain situations and when to back up and regroup. Keep up the good work Guardian 🫡🍻

@SGTBrownT Why should you apologise dude? If you are doing your best, that makes you on equal par with the top tier sweats imo. Only the results may differ. Don't give up. For every toxic player in the game that doesn't respect fellow players, there are hundreds that appreciate your efforts, whatever your disability. Good luck getting to that lighthouse.

1 ReplyWhy don’t you go in without a mic if you don’t like the banter? You want roses with those lozes….. (See what I tried to do there and failed miserably) 😁😂
-
2 RepliesTurn off all messaging options and do your thing.

Edited by Halo: 2/16/2025 9:35:12 PMDon't apologize. If people are mad enough about losing one(1) trials game to message you or make you feel bad, they need to get a team together of like minded players and leave everyone else alone.
-
Brother, you're welcome on my team any day. No need to apologize. Do your best and that's all that matters. Don't let others get ya down.
-
9 RepliesEdited by Shower: 2/15/2025 9:12:00 PMPeople need to decide - do they want trials filled with nothing but sweats, or not? If not, people need to understand sometimes the lower skilled players will end up on their team. It’s also pointless to shout things such as “Stop dying”! To teammates. I will message them, but with specific advice. “Play with us”, “play near point”, “watch sniping lanes” is much more helpful than screaming not to die. I am pretty sure nobody is trying to die 😂

1 ReplyDon’t apologize for anything. Just remember trials will always be a sweat fest. I suck at PVP. I find it hilarious when I receive threatening messages from teammates who are just as bad as me.
-
I’m butts at trials but I tried that’s all that matters trying
-
Bro it's a video game it's not like you ran over someone's cat or something that you need to feel bad about losing lol
-
No need to be sorry. Everyone has the choice to form a team or go in solo with randoms who can be good or not, it is not your fault to play the game you paid for. Enjoy and don’t take losses seriously! Its only a game. And enjoy when you win!
-
Well I give you credit, because you'll never see me in anything pvp. It didn't exist when I started playing games so I never had any interest. Hell, the frigging internet didn't exist when I started playing games. I just have no f*cks to give when it comes to pvp. Like others said, its just a game. Make it fun for yourself and ignore the dirtbags.
-
People are horrible in this community, I find it hilarious how so many pride themselves on being nice/good here yet as soon as you don’t play well you can bet your bottom dollar you’re going to receive hate mail, messages, verbal abuse or even in-game trolling. Leave them to their toxic misery and turn your messages off whilst playing, it’s a far better experience imo.
-
Hang in there tiger. You are better in life than they are in a video game. Mos of them are likely 8 year olds or much older but stuck with that as a maturity level
-
5 RepliesIgnore any losers on this thread that say "TrIaLs Is FoR eNdGaMe PlAyErS" You have every right to be there. If these folks go into Trials Solo or Duo *they are giving their consent be be teamed up with lower skill players*. They have no reason to be -blam!- and moan as they know what they are getting themselves into. If they didn't want to take that risk they would go in stacked.
-
I'm not a terrible pvp player but far from the best. I went in last night and got absolutely murked. I'm in no way suggesting shinnanigans, but I punch someone and they took no damage and there were people who just didn't miss headshots. I felt sorry for my team mates as I wasn't helping at all. Also that titan aspect was annoying so I'm trying it out myself.
-
I hate that people are bullying you. :/
-
Edited by TACO_Adept: 2/16/2025 4:32:41 AMJust ignore them. Sadly, this game has the most toxic, "jock" community of any game I've ever played.. online or real. People like yourself are why I hang around. I may not be much help, but I'd happily play with you. Bungie need to start banning these bullies. We don't need them.

Mate, calm down. Breathe. Now .. Its a game. It does not matter. And it is certainly not worth getting upset about. The matchmaking is loading one team with the best players as it always has because that is what Trials is about, its not about you or me having a great experience. It's set up so that JumpyHunterYourMomLovesMe can leap around in his little cowboy hat stomping others and feel that, for once in life, he matters at something. I have had people wish cancer on me because I didn't like Dual Destiny. The solar system is a mere speck compared to the size of the absolute -blam!- you would need to be to think like that. Not worth getting upset about.

I'm the same way. I can't see and react as well as I can due to a visual disability - but I keep jumping in there and trying. That really should be good enough.
