My friend got banned for teaching dungeons
My friend has lost their account for teaching dungeons through fireteam finder. He would do free dungeon carry teaching posts and after being banned found out these were being flagged for disruption and evasion violations and his posts were being wiped. There’s been zero respond from bungie to that appeal to clear this mistake. It’s a nearly 6000 hr account that’s 10 years old.

Posting in the forums cannot assist you beyond linking you to the appeal and speculation. However, there is a process in place for players to appeal their ban or restriction. If they have already submitted a ticket than they have done all that they can do. The appeal process will trigger a 2nd review of their situation and if the ban was incorrect it will be lifted, if found to be valid, it will remain. Bungie will typically respond only if more info is needed or if the ban/restriction is altered. The form is for appeals only, they do not answer questions as to why or how long. 18 RepliesYeah, people don't get banned for that. Unless they are charging people to go through things, then that's not the reason they got banned. Bungie isn't in the habit of unbanning people unless it was an actual mistaken ban, so unless you or your friend has proof it was mistaken, then bungie found something deserving of the ban when reviewing the reports.
