No one is offended by the slush fund?

That donations page seems noble, and all but this game definitely gives more cancer than it could ever cure. Are they trying to take credit for your money to St. Jude’s?! Or even worse just take that money for themselves?! This needs investigation!

  • They have a 501 3c set up that has public records of money donated. You can just go look at their tax filings before you start blabbing on about potential theft by a 501 3c. I'm looking at their 2022 filing right now and it shows $2.9m donated Here's just a few 100k to children's miracle network 429k to children's hospital of Colorado 291k to nationwide childrens hospital foundation 9k to RMHC Over 400k to Seattle children's hospital foundation 200k spent for make a wish in Alaska and washington

Kids if you want to donate to a charity PLEASE donate directly to the end use charity, preferably a charity local to you. It’s that easy and they get to keep 100% of your donation. You don’t need cooperations/companies to do it for you (who do it to pocket the tax write offs, not out of the goodness of their hearts) and never donate to middleman megacorp “charities” who often keep more then half the donations(yes, really) for administration fees, marketing costs, executive salaries and performance bonuses before distributing the leftover crumbs to the actual charities.

Corporations do not donate out of the kindness of their hearts. Their aim is to keep as much money not give it away, much less to a cause! The whole thing has been sus from day one!

          • I worked for a corporation for 13 years and learned a few things alot companys collect donations from people/customer to donate in the company's name and have strict quotas for the employees to aquire under threat for a company needs to donate above sertin thresholds to get tax breaks and then they pocket that money and sence they are getting the money from donations it's zero cost bonuses for the suits.... always do your research in matters of money or the house will play you straight in to a grave...not all company's do this to be fair but for most the bottom line is all that matters with no regard for anything in the way...

            • Posts like this give really good insight into the world we live in. OP has the literal wealth of knowledge of tbe internet. And with just a few button inputs can verify if the charity information he's questioning is legit. But instead he chooses to remain ignorant and just say random bullsh!t. Even when confronted with verifiable information that is contrary to his narrative, the original bias is so seared into his mind he simply cannot accept a differing reality. How do we as a society continue to progress with people like this? People who will outright deny the reality in front of their faces?

if you are donating via Tilitfy the donations go directly to the charity. If you are donating to Bungie foundation those funds to to the Bungie foundation which is in itself a charity which has their own programs such as ipads for kids along with giving to other charities. It takes but a few minutes of research to see where your funds are going, and should be considered part of your due diligence when donating to any organization
Or even worse just take that money for themselves?!
This would be an actual crime. You cannot state you are taking donations for charity and then take them into your non-charity corporation.
