For the last 2 years, or at-least as long as I can remember, the baseline seasonal content with no added difficulty has always been a breeze, without requiring me to pay extra attention to my loadout, mods, or any other customizations.
The lowest difficulty for The Nether is far more challenging than it should be, as it it feels extremely more overtuned than any other previous seasonal content.
I think having higher difficulties optional for those that like the challenge is great and should be continued, but the lowest difficulty should always be very easy to complete for the basic seasonal rewards.
Please nerf the modifiers (or massively buff the players).

The health stuff is the biggest problem on top of enemies being way too strong.

What's actually funny though is if you go to your missions and you click on it look all the way at the bottom, it literally says failure is expected LOL. So they flat out did this on purpose and no it's going to piss people off LOL

Agreed I actually think Seasonal Activities have been progressively slowly getting harder and harder ( I recall a psyop or whatever it was to rescue amanda holliday people and the blueberries dying over and over and seeing the timer close to 50 minutes when I joined some random team and thought that it was getting worse) but now its really really bad. And interestingly as its gotten harder I wonder IF player numbers for seasonal activities are also dropping.... gee bungie might wanna listen to casuals and not streamers someday soon.
