What if instead of new subclasses in the new saga we get new types of abilities for older subclasses, for instance the anomaly and it’s orange arc energy, what if we gain this power and unlock a new super/abilities inside the arc subclass, that are specific to only arc, no prismatic that way there’s more reason to use other subclasses. Kinda like (well, basically the exact same for arc) how in the insomniac spiderman universe Miles had orange lightning in his spin off game but in spiderman 2 he gains blue power, but gameplay wise he can still use both.

I’ve said for ages that I’d really like to something akin to MMOs where we have our class and subclass then another source of power that we can use to further customize our builds. I like the idea of it augmenting our existing powers but I’d really like to see some sort of covenant (like in Dark Souls) style system where we get exclusive powers depending on which one we are in. Let’s say for example - I choose to be part of House of Light, I could change my class ability out for a light dash. Or if I choose to be part of “Drifters Rogues” I could swap out my grenade for a taken blight.

4 RepliesWhat about other class systems like Prismatic? A hypothetical Taken/Blight class system separate from the standard the light and dark element sub classes.

Would be a cool concept but since they had been hinting at a 3rd darkness subclass, I feel like they would eventually do the final darkness subclass but they need to figure out how to surprise us since they try to give us something the most of us won’t expect

9 RepliesCould be cool. A third darkness subclass is still needed to make 3 each though.
