I don't think your perk weighting has been fixed
Been grinding for the Noxious Vetiver seasonal SMG with attrition orbs and jolting feed back 10 potions around 15 hours worth more or less than 100 of these dropped neither of these parks dropped. They are 5 apart. Only 2 with jolting feed back dropped and 0 with attrition orbs rolls. Feels bad, I miss crafting...
Edit: I'm around 150 drops now and finally have gotten attrition orbs to drop 3 times in a row but only those 3 times and still no attrition orbs and jolting feed back, I'm just unlucky..
Edit to the Edit: @ 300 smg drops still not 1 smg with attrition orbs and Jolting feed back.

This is not what the perk weighting issue was. Please try to be more correct before you misinform. Perk weighting was when 2 perks would not roll together. This issue by far appears that you’re having trouble getting rolls of either perk to even drop. If you wanna talk about a new issue with perk RNG we can have that conversation, but all you’re doing is riling people up. Plus any real discussion about any issues in the future is just gonna be muddied if people keep blaming any bad potential RNG on weightgate

1 ReplyIts funny how Bungie has accrued such distrust with the playerbase that even when they said they fixed something people still don't believe them. Though wouldn't surprise me if the fix was a half measure and perks still don't drop as they really should.

30 hours. 30 freaking hours for a substance - kinetic tremor roll chroma rush. I got 10 heating up and tap the trigger rolls in a row. No it hasn't been fixed.

I also have used around 20-25 bittersweet tonics and have yet to get an envious arsenal/BnS roll, spent a lot of time grinding for that one and still nothing. Also still haven't gotten a heal clip/Incan sojourner. I really miss crafting. Both of these weapons have been out since the start of the episode and still no good rolls, that's unacceptable. Damn you, Bungie for everything you've destroyed/broke since revenant started, not just crafting. I'll never forgive you. #BRINGBACKCRAFTING

Vesper's Host drops are seem VERY broken. VS Velocity Baton drops seem very weighted ...

1 ReplyI'm with you on this to a degree, I've been farming it since it dropped and the closest I've gotten has been loose change/jolting feedback or attrition orb/target lock, even in the dungeon it feels extremely off with every auto I've gotten has been strategist/target lock (not complaining cause that thing is a consistent laser in pvp)

3 RepliesI agree. I have been chasing Martyr’s retribution since it came back for a heal clip & incandescent roll and still haven’t had it drop. I have bought hundreds of them over the last two echoes. It’s a total joke that they aren’t even craftable after the season/Echo episode finished. Bungie bring back seasonal weapon crafting for the episodes seasonal weapons. It’s just not liked by the community how much extra we have to play for so little.

12 RepliesWhether or not it's fixed doesn't really matter. If you, and most people who are aware of weightgate, ever have a string of bad rng you'll blame it on that. We've entered a post realism world Even if it was mathematically proven to you it was fixed. You wouldn't believe it.

Yeah, I've experienced duplicate drops simultaneously a few times now. Which statistically is very unlikely. I really just have little faith in the background loot system anymore. Crafting needs to be a main stay.

The odds are 1 in 47 to even get those two perks together. So if you get one roll that you want in 47 drops or less you are at or above expected RNG. To put that in perspective it’s worse odds than flipping a coin and having it land on heads 5 times in a row.

If anything it feels like it's gotten worse. This season I've gotten a ton of weapons with the exact same perk combo. And a lot of them were weapons I wasn't even farming or cared about, so it's not just a question of noticing it more when I don't get the role I wanted.

26 RepliesWeight gate isn't still a thing. If you after a super specific drop, then you can't expect to get it immediately unless you have some great luck. You should go and look up what the actual percentage is to get super specific drops. [spoiler] It's very low[/spoiler]
