6 RepliesThey probably spent half of the episode's budget on licensing the Star Wars stuff, lol Overall it didn't move the needle for me. If the narrative stuff around the Hive and reshuffling the pantheon(hopefully with something wild like Taox or Nokris returning) is decent it might be kind of cool. I'll play enough to max my season pass since I paid for it, but that's probably about it. Unfortunately that's kind of where I am these days with Destiny, play it for a bit because I foolishly spent the money on the full thing with Final Shape, but once I have my season pass done I kind of tune out until the next episode.

I always hold judgment on an activity until I play it. Feel and pace makes or breaks an activity for me personally. Weapons team looked like they knocked it out of the park but that’s been a common theme for a while. Other than that I like the changes in PVP and the weapons there too. Once again I’ll hold judgment until I play. Wish they showed a little more.

9 RepliesNever can watch, it always when I am working. not even posted up yet so I can't watch the replay. So far what I am reading is NOT good. I could care less about fashion so the star wars thing is not for me. The no health regen is NOT a good thing, especially if you have to have a special build just to counteract it. I don't have the armor or weapons now, so It will be a die repeatedly fest for me, which is not fun or engaging. It sound like Bungie still pushing the harder is better narrative. It has not worked so far, what on earth would make them think it will change with this season/act.

Please everyone complaining about no health regen every subclass in the game has dmg res and some way to heal. Also just get aberrant action heal clip and incandescent you can solo flawless many dungeons with just that as your source of healing if you play it right. Or trinity ghoul with better already, absolution, arc siphon or the attrition orb area denial go which makes insane amounts of orbs. There are sooooo many builds you can use to do this activity but people seem to not be able to put on their thinking caps it. No disrespect if you want to play that way so be it, I’ll be enjoying this niche little activity for a bit.

Why on earth would they arbitrarily change the health Regen. No real patrol space, crappy looking event. Can I get my money back for this crap? What the heck is Bungie doing?

9 RepliesAs far as oryx coming back in lore Oryx brought Savathun back through cunning and Xivu back through war. If Eris accesses the new eldritch power through navigating using oryxs path could be come back? If Eris dies and it's by way of vengeance will she return and become a hive God with throne world? Is oryx really back? The echo is part of something the witness conquered and bonded with light right? So it can't be oryx right?

1 ReplyI'm kinda glass half empty with bungie. So the seasonal activity sounds like patrol, with modifiers and basically public events. I do appreciate a support frame in the kinect slot, I like the vfx for the arc area denial frame gl. The new exotics look usable. Strong artifact (thank god) I'm indifferent towards the vault of glass. It's a strong origin trait though so I guess I'll farm it. I love the star wars collaboration. But I really wish at some point we'll have a setting for silver exclusive armor to override exotics.

At first I thought oryx return was lazy but then I remembered that savathun hinted his return and let’s not forget ghost of the deep but was kinda expecting xivu arath to play a role in the story, maybe act 2 or 3 but maybe buy the episode but idk if I’ll continue after heresy especially if it sucks
