New armor coming
Don't screw us over by making our armor we have atm irrelevant for the next dlc, if you do I'm done and so will be many others, because if you do that it would be a total lack of respect towards your players time sunk into this game.
Just remember what happend last time you sunset armor and please don't make the same mistake again!!!!!!

1 ReplyRemember last time? Yeah it’s going to be like that. Why? Because as it is there is no incentive to collect armour as we all built what we need. The game is built around the chase for materials and resources. It is all they have.

3 RepliesBruh what 😂 they aren’t sun setting anything, they are making a new system and you will still be able to use old gear but the newer gear will be better. You know like any other game when it releases a new dlc. I used the same old gear because I’m to lazy to spend hours stat farming, works just fine for master and GM content. The last time i touched my titan gear was when Ghosts came out and before that was when there was god rolled gear in season passes, the first season they released that mind you. It’ll be nice to use new gear.

Why wouldn’t you want armor drops to matter again? It’s over half the loot pool for any given activity….

Its not sunset iirc. Its power crept. You can still use it, infuse it etc, but the new gear will be better. Just like the introduction of artifice armor didn't sunset non-artifice. It just made artifice clearly the better option.

2 RepliesThe only thing I’ve read is that it will be more flexible and allow past 100 stats. It will give more flexibility to make specialized builds but I don’t see how it will make the current armor useless.

4 RepliesPersonally, I’m very excited for any change in armor. Good or bad. Ideally good of course. Especially if we can actually for real build into it. I have not even looked at my armor for any reason except for to change how it looks since season one of Lightfall. And that was only because I was looking for something to do. They can’t completely sunset things, because they aren’t going to get rid of exotics.

It just won’t be as good as the new stuff coming. It’s powercreep. It’s a good thing for players to want to play the game to get the new stuff you made.
