I cannot be the only person tired of encountering people camping and crouching in PvP?
It slows gameplay and it's cowardly.

Cowardly? Hahaha! This isn’t second life, it’s a PvP match. Winning is what counts.
-
7 RepliesCowardly? It's a video game, not the Revolutionary War.
-
It doesn’t remove you from radar. Just makes you ping it less often
-
4 RepliesThey should add prone, and have crouch make you have to be closer to detect

It's a strat in the game since D1. Not that hard to counter if you pay attention and don't just run in everywhere. Also I spit a camper and make a note in my mind of who they are and prepare my engagements. So hard disagree on this.
-
Radar is a crutch. Just get rid of it.
-
It would be nice if they brought back the Inferno playlist from D1 (no radar at all) But bungie hates giving us options in pvp.
-
It's actually pretty dumb if you think about it. Why would crouching take you off radar? If you want to be taken off radar for a certain amount of time, each class should have things to do that and you should have to build into it IMO.

the only thing that should mess with radar is something equally given to all.. so while I dont agree > crouching is no problem (and has its own drawbacks > slowin you down) perks/abilities/exotics that mess with radar.. wall hacks of any sort (this was traditionally reserved for cheaters) have no place in the crucible... nobody running the thing has any vision for it -
For every ape there is a camper. Both must live for a happy medium to exist.
it's cowardly.
You sound like the Sangheili… when they use active camouflage

1 ReplyIt's PvP. The objective of the game is to kill the other guy. It's also not a permanent radar evasion, it's intermittent. Should it be a thing? Probably not in a PvP environment where you rely on your radar, that being said, it's always been that way and "most" people have adapted and accepted it. Lastly, it's not the only thing that's available to take you off an enemies radar, so it's a bigger change than just crouching, which ain't gunna happen.

I disagree. A lot of people are bad at pvp. They don’t want to automatically get annihilated. I know I wouldn’t. This way they can learn what works best for them. Sure they still get butchered but it gives players a chance especially if they’re bad.
