Hunter main here. The nerf to Titans consecration is way too high. And if you reduce the ignition damage in the future like you alluded to in the TWAB it’s going to be completely unviable and abandoned.
A small adjustment would be better. But since you never listen to the community at large, I guess we can all wave farewell to our Titan buddies having g fun.

1 ReplyThey barely touched it. The ignition (not nerfed) is a significant part of the damage.

2 RepliesIt needed a nerf, being able to OHK a champion on GM difficulty with nearly no setup is wild. This change won’t have a big effect. The ignitions damage is what scales with your damage increasing sources, so until that gets touched, titans will probably still be able to OHK or very close, a GM champ.

Done over over 40 nightfalls today only seen two titans so far so I think they all left the game already

5 RepliesHere's my issue with it. The reason that Consecration has been so popular is that Bungie made such a hash of Prismatic that Consecration builds are literally the only viable option for Prismatic Titans. Therefore people had a lot of time to tweak and refine them until they became optimised and super strong because nobody was playing anything else. When I finally came round to the idea of playing with consecration a couple of months ago it was a breath of fresh air - I finally had more fun playing Titan than I had since Destiny Beta. The announcement of the nerf was just another terrible idea in a pretty terrible announcement overall. Personally it won't affect me because I won't be around much (if at all) after the end of the month, because the next episode looks awful, but I pity those sticking around

2 RepliesThey announced a nerf on consecration? You got to give it to Bungie, they come up with a cool idea then when it gets a bit too popular, they scrap it. Consecration has never been the issue, it’s the 3x charge with frenzy blades and transcendence letting you get all your abilities back that makes it to omnipresent, without people having to build into it. The whole prismatic class is an all you can eat buffet.

One may say it’s massive. You know what else is massive ?

30% of the total damage is not way to big

1 ReplyIt's actually really small in practice so long as there are multiple opponents which you needed to proc syntho anyways. Now..if they nerf the ignition... that would be a huge hit.

I hope the Bolt charge stuff works well enough to ease the nerf.

Consecration damage isn’t even the best part of the OP build. The falling star build will live on just because of its interaction with 3 melees and the wave proccing

They are so disconnected with their community, dead game at the moment and they are nerfing something the players love? 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

Back to the og void super generating build

1 ReplyWhat kills me ia the game is on life support but they juat can’t help themselves from nerfing things people like. It’s a game not a f’n paid competitive life experience. It’s juat a game!!

I look forward to the upcoming arc Titan additions very much myself. It is a huge nerf on the level warlocks received with Well super though.
-
Dude, it's not guaranteed to nerf the ignition, it's pretty much the same it always was even right now with the waves nerf
-
Hunter -blam!- about a Titan nerf, really? Warlock laughing my a$$ off.

"And if you reduce the ignition damage in the future like you alluded to in the TWAB it’s going to be completely unviable and abandoned. " That's been the studio's thing for the last 3 years at least...........release it busted. Then nerf it to uselessness. I still can't believe they're acting like the changes they're making to arc for Titan will be good. Arc titan needed a major buff.......so did Chaos Reach Lock. An they still......somehow managed to drop the ball.
