Alright, place your bets, which of these will happen?
Personally, the way they’re going with all of our enemies eventually becoming allies, I’d say it’s PRETTY obvious what’s going to happen.
I mean, Ctaitl, Savathûn, Eramis…
There’s definitely a pattern. I’m surprised we didn’t redeem The Witness.

Oryx is a fanatic to the sword logic if anything he would of wanted to 1v1 the witness who hated the sword logic if he was resurrected when the witness was alive

5 RepliesIt's called wokeness no one excluded no one victimised, except the guardian who is very proficient at mass genocide, but that's ok

4 RepliesOryx will transfer back to his original form- a women. Then the 3 powerful sisters will kill the big bad man- the guardian.🙂

Caital was never an official enemy. We only fought her forces to agree on war terms against the hive. Savathune never became our ally for anything less than a way to eventually screw us over. Eramis starter her story and just ender her story with the exact same perspective on guardians and goal towards the future she wants. If this is what you call a redemption story, I feel bad for you. Try googling the arbiters back story and realize what truly makes a redemption story. The most true to form redemption story we got in destiny was uldren becoming crow, and that barely counts because of a memory wipe.

6 Replies"The light forgets. The light forgives" Redemption has been a major theme of the games story for a while now. Comparing oryx to Caiatl, Savathûn and Eramis is a really silly thing to do. Caiatl came to our system seeking an alliance. Savathûn doubted the worm pact in the books of sorrow so her dissertation of the witness was hinted at a long time ago and I would say she was never actually redeemed. Eramis' motivation was always focused on the future of her people and believed they were best off without the traveler. If it was the echo's intention to return to Riis then I think it actually makes sense that it chose Eramis. I think oryx was in way too deep with the sword logic to ever actually be redeemed. Also the witness (as a collective) was literally incapable of doubt or dissent and therefore could not have been redeemed.

I'm not really too sure!! I would say something like echo of beginning or something like that... the moment the traveller fled the pre-hive, hive world and left the witness to corrupt oryx, savy and xivu. What can realistically be achieved with a seasonal activity, a battleground and an exotic mission... probably not much, but if we talk to enough people in between then anything can is possible.
