When arrowhead annoyed their community with mtx related issues they gave it away for free and promised to do better AND still made money from the community because of the timely response and good faith. Yet this season alone they’ve added 6 whole transmog sets to the store which aside from crossover stuff is now essentially just stuff we should be earning for PLAYING the game. From raids and dungeons etc. or I don’t know quests for your class upgrades? With armour matching the elements. They have so many uniques items in the store that are all tied to locations or factions. None of them drop in areas of the game that match the theme. They’re all in the store. Meanwhile we have had maybe what 7 years of content updates we pay for that add 2 or 3 sets of gear at most? Bungie has shown they don’t care about the audience that even plays their game. $60 for 3 sets of gear while the game audience has bled away should be criminal 😂 but that much has been clear for years. People just excused it because of the biggest carrot on the stick which is “destinys best days are ahead of it” they said that so many times over the years leading to final shape just to do nothing with it. No investment into the engine. No sweeping game updates planned to support content like 12 player activities. Two rise of irons a year sounds pretty lame as a “bright future”
