Started about a week ago, the sound completely cuts out at the start of some activities & remains off until the activity ends or I leave. It used to be once or twice a day, but now it's almost 1 in every 3-4 activities I play.
It's usually the entire sound that goes, but I can still hear menu sounds & my jumping I can hear. It seems to happen more often when I'm in a group with 2 steam players or 2 PSN players (I'm Xbox). I'm also matching a good amount of Asian & russian players. So it might be cross play or distance causing these issues
The game also totally crashes to the home screen of the Xbox, maybe once a day, it's never done this in 10 years, this is a recent thing, last few weeks.
To add, this isn't a console issue as I've 3 Xboxes (1 series X & 2 series S) & it happens on all 3. My caches are cleared every night as I always unplug. I've uninstalled & reinstalled on 1, still happens. 1 is wired 2 are WiFi, again all 3 have the same issues.

2 RepliesHi there, Thanks for reaching out! Please try clearing the console's cache to resolve the issue: https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049199051-Clearing-the-Console-Cache If you're on Steam, you can clear the cache by going to Steam>Settings>Downloads>Clear Download Cache. If you continue experiencing this after clearing the cache, please check out our Audio Guide to ensure the in-game audio settings as well as your system settings are optimized for Destiny 2: https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049196431-Destiny-Audio-Guide For the crashing issues, please try powering off and unplugging the console for 30-60 seconds after clearing the cache, and ensuring that the fans are not blocked.
