Remember when Destiny holiday events were fun?
Back in the good ol' days, we had SRL (in D1), Crimson Days, and Haunted Forest. Now there are only minor changes to the game for each event (snowballs? Yay! 🙄). However, you shouldn't worry, Eververse still gets a lot of content.
P.S., dawning weapons should have an origin trait that occasionally spawns snowballs (year round).

Seasonal events have always been pretty tame with a few exceptions. D1 dawning only because there was no seasons soaking up dev resources so QoL and content updates could be released with it so the event felt like it did more. D2 Forsaken FOTL only because they had a cool exotic mission where you got Thunderlord the first machinegun added to the game before Black Armory.

Interestingly, I mentioned Crimson Days to my brother today. I really did like that event. However, I am biased because Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday. Heh.

All bungie says is there investigating reports of this . can't even use the oven says I don't have either Cain or something like that ,but have seen it pop up on the screen many times. all 3 charecters same problem quest won't progress .

Bungie can't even be bothered to put any effort into the game (new activity) except for EVERVERSE! Those cards are their bread and butter, their money maker! That's why it got patched in 30 to 45 mins!

I do miss when the holidays were made for fun. Now it's all focused too hard on the event card and loot. Holidays no longer feel like holidays and just more like "special limited time grind" events with a push to buy unreasonably overpriced cosmetics.

3 RepliesSnowballs were great - when we could throw them in the tower! Oh and speaking of SLR (which I loved!!!) where are our sparrow horns? Some big angry arrogant space turtle pushes off the tower and now we have no horns!?!?! Not sure how a skimmer horn works but I'd love to find out!

Crimson days died because no one liked 2vs2 apparently. I quite liked it, and i don't even like pvp. Haunted forest mode is leagues better then the control mode we have in lost sectors now. Solstice was shortened and is a shell of it's former self. It is a lot less tedious, however. Thank god. Dawning is the same. Guardian game seems to be less grindy. I think. Revelry. Unfortunately i never got the chance to try it.

2 RepliesI think they should just majorly expand on the snowball fighting and such. Perhaps cannons of some sort. Rapid fire. Fire inside the snowball. Snowflake ninja stars. etc.

No lol. They've always been pretty low effort cash grabs. Maybe during d1 when they were new but that was almost 10 years ago
