"The Dawning" step 4 bugged
After I gave the first gift to Zavala i switched characters causing the return to eva step to lock. I cant dismantle the quest or continue it on other characters any fixes?

I’m locked out as well. I maxed out my dawning spirit prior to getting the quest on my third character. When I went to do the quest steps on my third character it requires you to accept dawning spirit. My dawning spirit is at 999 thus I can’t accept it. Because the quest step reset on all 3 characters (idk why it would but it did) I can’t use my dawning spirit on the last upgrade to free up the space because it requires quest progression. Some fixes I can think of include removing a limit on dawning spirit, altering the quest step itself, making dawning spirit like essence and an actual item in your inventory, or allowing you to abandon quest. If this is treated like the eververse store it’ll be fixed before I finish my dinner here in an hour but I doubt it. Thanks bungie support for looking into this

I have the same issues as you. I am completely soft-locked and cannot progress the event att all nor get Dawning Essence.. =(
