With the gear/stat changes coming in Codename: Frontier, you can focus more on becoming a grenade god or a melee god. With stats 1-100 being about the cooldown, like it currently is, and 101-200 being about enhancing your grenade or melee. My idea may sound dumb, but let's go all in. Could we get the option to sacrifice our melee ability for a extra grenade charge? Like instead of selecting Incinerator Snap, I have the option to select convert melee to grenade charge, and vice versa. Or even the class ability can have the option to be converted. I could convert my grenade and melee to have 3 class ability charges, think Vesper of Radius with Frostpulse, Icefall Mantle or The Sixth Coyote. Hunters having 4 dodges on Prismatic with the Stasis freeze and Decoy Aspects. Convert melee and class and put on the Armamentarium, now Titans have 4 grenade charges. Or Osmiomancy Gloves and Shinobu's Vow. Convert class and grenade for up to 4 melee with some Exotics. This would allow you to go even deeper into the fantasy that the new gear stat system is setting up. And last but not least, as a Warlock main who hates the Stasis Super, let us convert/sacrifice our Super to obtain an extra charge for all 3 abilities, grenade, melee and class. BUT by sacrificing our Super, we can NOT convert any abilities into other abilities. That be like 10 grenade charges, if everything was converted, with the right exotic. Let's crank the class fantasy to 11. Let Destiny 2 go out with a bang.
