It focuses on Threadlings often, but Threadlings AI and tracking makes them feel really bad. And the class feels sluggish when using any non grapple grenade.
Here are a few ideas.
Weavers call: using class ability spawns 3 Threadlings. Kills with strand damage have a chance to create a perched Threadling. When deployed, perched Threadlings launch through the air with increased damage and velocity at the target you fired at. (Think like the stasis buddy from rime coat)
New class ability
Spectre glide: while sliding or in the air, activate your class ability to use a directional dash through the weave that severs enemies you pass through (50 second base cooldown)
Weave walk: While in the weave, hold fire to automatically deploy Threadlings when combatants are nearby (PvE only)
The wanderer: tangles spawned will slowly travel towards combatants and automatically explode when near majors or more dangerous enemies, suspending enemies damaged by the blast. When no enemy is detected, the tangle will travel towards the player.
Threadling AI: if a Threadling is targeting an enemy minor, no more Threadlings may target that enemy. Threadlings will only detonate on direct impact with an enemy. Increase speed slightly.

1 ReplyInteresting you think it’s strong because it feels completely underpowered to me.
