Dares of Eternity and Onslaught need much more
Dares is god awful Bungie and you know it’s just some crap that’s only worth the craftable weapons and that every other thing outside of those is effectively irrelevant with ignition code having been brought back for everyone to acquire now. Do something meaningful with that please. Onslaught should have another wave of new(oldschool fan favorite) weapons brought to it every single year in similar fashion to when into the light came out such as the “steel feather repeater” you guys so conveniently forgot. Loot is one of the few things keeping your game alive. I’m not asking for a total rework of anything but I’m demanding for you guys to make sure the loot value in the activities can remain fresh instead of stale. You guys don’t have a long shelf life anymore if you slip on loot at any given point and I’m worried about y’all:(, you’ve made something incredible that will surpass the game itself and go beyond that with Sony and others help. Please keep up your hard work and put the passionate ones up in front to lead operations if you can:(. Love yall❤️

Dares grind for completing is tedious in my opinion.... Atleast when doing normal... I try to play sometimes...almost lvl15 and then still need to lvl more...

4 RepliesThe problem is both were meant to be temporary activities. Due to overwhelming positive feedback, Bungie kept both around. But since they were meant to be temporary, Bungie never had plans to update them to increase their staying power. And I highly doubt that will change anytime soon.

Absolutely agree that everything can use refresh. At the least > Dares needs attunement for all that drops.. or straight up engrams for focusing. At the least > Onslaught needs more connection to Vanguard with reputation and reward (more engrams for at least an hour!).. and could def cycle in something fresh on the rewards from shinies.. to individual specialized weaponry.. or a combo like a raid shiny with unique perk set.. TBH > I actually think they do realize this and that Frontiers will hit this with the updates instead of seasons.. but still good to remind these guys... -
Regular Onslaught is even worse now. During EP 1 I unlocked some craftable weapons there. Now I can't even craft the ones I unlocked after the EP ended. I'm not sure if it's intended or if it's a bug, but BUNGIE is not addressing it, and I believe more people are in the same situation. Hell, I even spent harmonizers and now can't shape them.

2 RepliesIt's what bungie does they make older activities next to pointless to force interaction with newer content. Dares Blind well Wellspring Empire hunts Simulations Headlong Partition Once a new dlc is out that's it older stuff is pushed aside.

4 RepliesStale loot is what they are really good at. Sure is exciting to see the same loot drops year after year.🙄 Played Dares yesterday for the first time in quite a while and got the same old weapons. This is pretty much standard operating practice with most activities.

2 RepliesIf they'd update the loot pool, it wouldn't be so bad. But every season some lame new variation of a strike or mini game is released. Do we really need new ones? Onslaught? Battlegrounds? Strikes? Gambit?

As a minimum they could have kept the pinnacle on dares and added a pinnacle to onslaught.
