I mean cool, I'll just glue the two-burst Elsie's or Graviton to my hands but seems odd to acknowledge them, show the graph, and then do nothing but nerf High Ground.
W with the 120 damage bump though. Love to see that.

6 RepliesHang on....EVERYONE now has a Rose with Slideshot + EP LOL! It's shifting slightly.....unless all players now equip Rose and Graviton Lance/Elsie's 🤣🤣🤣 Non Meta players just got hammered even further IMO!

They left pulses alone to keep 120 HCs in check Otherwise we would just be replacing 340 pulses with 120HCs , which I'm sure you would be fine with -

4 RepliesPeople cry so hard when their handcannons don’t work against pulse rifles in pulse rifle range.

4 RepliesEdited by Kiro - 13: 11/14/2024 10:17:38 PMIm am very sure elsie's will receive a stat nerf that will parity the stat nerf NTTE received. As thats all it is, a pre-nerf NTTE with no time buddy. The addition of the stat boost mods practically grantees this change. Its also funny to see Bungie back pedal so fast. As with the Echos Act they declared in a TWID that 340s are not grossly over performing.... I suppose so, if the dev skill floor is Joe Blackburn vs a overload minotaur.

I’m still confused on what this “nerf” to explosive payload on hand cannons means: Explosive Payload Explosive Payload was nerfed when we originally made the Into the Light weapon sandbox changes as part of our efforts to reduce forgiveness of Primary weapons, but the nerf was heavy handed and overly punishing on a great many weapon types where the perk was not problematic. When we rolled those changes back into the base weapon stats, we did not have a good way to adjust the perk correspondingly, so we shipped it in Revenant in its fully un-nerfed state while we investigated better options. We have since been able to add more tuning levers and have reduced the efficacy of the perk only on Legendary Hand Cannons, which allows the perk to continue to work on other weapon types and Exotics like Sunshot. Reduced Splash damage from the perk when used on Legendary Hand Cannons by 7% against players only.

11 RepliesI kind of agree but I think weapons generally are ok at the moment. Handcannons seem ok although Rose probably needs lightweight removed as it’s easily the best legendary 140 and a few auto archetypes could be buffed.
-
Yea I was thinking that as well but bygones is for sure the major problem out of those 3 but yea everyone’s just gonna use Elsie’s and grav now

3 RepliesIt’s amazing people still complain about crucible. Just don’t play something that’s always been bad lol

5 RepliesEdited by s: 11/15/2024 5:11:46 PMexcept on that graph rose is ahead of both gravaton and elsies by a large margin. rose has also been used more than any other pulse rifle except for bygones the last few weeks because the past nerfs did not hit 140s nearly as hard as 340s and 600 autos. the main issue was highground which is about to be nerfed. the secondary issue is that yes 120s needed to be buffed back to their original state there was barely any need to nerf them and autos mainly 360s need to be buffed to a .75 ttk. the current state of every pulse except those using busted high ground is fine. the stability on gravaton could be nerfed i guess but it's not really necessary. if you are still having issues with pulses you need to adjust your style of play more than anything because pulses are a great measure on if you are playing pvp correctly. edit: that and we need another PI 260 scout other than fang of ir yut. preferably reprised aisha's embrace with a lower zoom value. very suprised that we haven't seen that weapon return to trials yet. but yea 360 buff to the ttk that they should be at also bring vex mytho back into the meta.

4 RepliesEdited by JocyBossy: 11/15/2024 8:07:21 AM2 outliers shouldn't get the whole sub-type nerfed kiddo. looks like your no-skill hand cannons got a buff because 10 years of them being meta isn't boring.
-
5 Repliesthis balance's hand cannons very well IMO, 140s are still faster to use, and have faster kill time, but 120s are more forgiving and easier to use, if only bungie would actually give us exotic hand cannons, im pretty sure only 3 exotic hand cannons in destiny 2 are unique, not counting eriana's and most of them are 140s.

14 RepliesWhy are they so scared to nerf 340s? Elsie’s rifle and Messenger have been monsters for the longest time lol. The recent 340 nerf is completely ignored if you have Headseeker.
-
21 RepliesThe two bursting 340s is probably something that a majority of people wish the game didn't have to have in it. Graviton seems like its probably more annoying to get killed by than actually OP. The high ground nerf will most likely reduce the number of lower skilled people using bygones, and I must just be the only person that doesn't run into all that many GL gods.

4 RepliesThe main question is: why are they buffing telesto?
-
They did it last time with HC. Noted how they were over performing, showed a graph, and that was that.

9 RepliesEdited by DJ: 11/14/2024 6:20:35 PMWith High Ground on Primaries now only giving x1 to the perk, I feel it really dropped the viability of the perk as a whole. It's just like Rampage now. Personally, I feel other damage-buffing perks on Bygones specifically like Desperate Measures (10-20%), Frenzy (15%) or Kill Clip (25%) are going to be more sought after now. And there's always Headseeker too.
