Hello, its been a few months since the name issue happened but I still can't change my name back to my original name that I had before "Arisobex" that I had since Battle.net days.
I've been reading Bungie's Banned Name Policy and the Code of Conduct. and i dont believe it breaks any rule within those since, it doesnt have profanity , doesnt refer to anything -blam!-, it isnt personal identifying information and has no mentions of Bungie.
As for the meaning of the name, it's just a combination of "Aris" and a Warframe weapon that i like "Obex".
Is there any way i can get my name back or is this a lost cause? Because im honestly considering uninstalling destiny and quitting it if i cant get it back.

1 ReplyHey there. Bungie tried to unlock accounts that had been unnecessarily changed by the name reset wave that happened a few months ago. Unfortunately that didn't work for everyone and some names are still locked, as reset names (and close variants) can't be re-used. So it may not be a code of conduct issue. This is still under investigation and Bungie have not made a further announcement.

They don't want to address it at all.

2 RepliesI’m right there with you. I wish they would put the effort necessary to get this resolved. Wonder what it would take on Bungie’s end to allow everyone one additional name change for their account?
