I think a lot of us were expecting Chain to be Reservoir Burst with less damage, but it won't even kill immediately adjacent red bars in patrol. The radius is way too small, and the damage is less than a single bolt of the fusion. The nerfs to Chain were necessary for Forbearance and other Special GLs, but fusions need to be tuned separately or something. I was really looking forward to Demolitionist/Chain, which I got, but it was not remotely worth the time investment.
