Now, as someone who loves using burst fire weapons in shooting games, and as someone who always thought that having a burst fire shotgun was unheard of (even though there was that one burst fire shotgun in CoD Black Ops 2 - I don't know how I forgot about that until now), I kind of like Arcane Embrace. I was never one to use shotguns unless I have to, and Arcane Embrace is good... but I will admit, it does have some problems. Aside from the design (like seriously, it should've had a much more unique design instead of being a reskin of Bonechiller), I honestly wish it had better perks. I would say half of the perks it has are good, and although I don't know what kind of perks I would like to implement into Arcane Embrace, but what it does have doesn't seem to be that good of a variety in my opinion. I also wish it wasn't a slug type. And yes, I know that it's a burst fire, but I can easily tell that it doesn't do spread fire like every other shotgun, and that it functions like a slug shot. Even the reticle is the same that slug shotguns use in the game. But I think the biggest problem is the fire rate. It feels slow, clunky, and delayed when wanting to fire the next shot. And I understand why, but it just doesn't feel consistent to me. Would I like more burst fire weapons in Destiny 2? Yes, I absolutely would. But considering how much people seem to hate the burst fire hand cannons, and I'm willing to bet they might not like Arcane Embrace as well as I do. So maybe the weapons should stay as they are. While I do have some problems with Arcane Embrace, and while it doesn't function as well as I wanted it to, I do in fact like it. Other than that, I'm honestly giving it a 6/10. Not bad, but definitely could've been better. I don't know who will agree or disagree with me on this, but I figured I'd give out my review for Arcane Embrace. Especially since October is finally done. What a horrible and intoxicating month this year. But that's a me problem, so don't worry about it.
