Bungie, the "Unable to Gather Ingredients no matter how many times I gather them" is not even presently listed as a bug you are working on, no matter how many help posts from players (including "me too" posts) and replies from you that you "are actively investigating the issue," I have seen over the last several weeks. It seems to me that you have completely given up on this bug and/or deprioritized it to never getting addressed, regardless of the large number of players who are still stuck and unable to craft potions, because they are blocked by the surprising reappearance of the unfinishable Tonic Brewing Guide on for their character, despite having already completed it, previously. They are stuck at Step 1 of 4 of this bugged recurring quest at: [url=https://i.imgur.com/QIBaxJo.png]Tonic Brewing Guide - Quest Step 1 of 4 - Reagent collected[/url] ..., and then no further progress can be made no matter how many times you try to gather ingredients from the shelf using the 'E' key. This is despite the fact that the progress circle indicating that gathering is in progress and successfully completes, is indicative of the quest step's completion. The only thing that happens is that after a several second timeout, the diamond to gather ingredients once again becomes active. You can try to regather ingredients from the shelf forever without any progress being actually made to satisfy the first step of the Tonic Brewing Guide quest. Since it appears that you do not have any developers who can figure out how to solve this issue, let me make a suggestion for resolution that will help the many players still suffering from this bug for what is now Month #3: Have a developer or other Bungie staff member that is authorized to do so perform the following steps: 1. Find all players who have characters that have completed [b]any Major Fieldwork[/b] or [b]the Key Fieldwork[/b] and [b]still have the Tonic Brewing Guide quest active[/b] 2. For all player characters that match the criteria from (1), [b]remove the Tonic Brewing Guide quest from their characters, permanently[/b]. There you have it! The simple steps above, if applied to all characters, will fix this bug retroactively for all of the many players that suffer from it for weeks if not months now, and cannot craft any potions using their impacted characters, as a result of the bug.
