Me and my team kill 13 headless ones. Me and buddy had 2, while the other dude had 9, I thought it was based on just hitting the target but it looks like you actually have to get the killing blow... kinda annoying could be wrong but me and my friend definitely hit more then 2 each so my assumption is its killing blows, it should be shared across the activity.

But then would Bungie continue to pit players against each other in activities for the crumbs they offer? You're talking crazy.

As long as you're seeing that tick damage from your shot, you're good. It works. If all the points are in line and you're a good -blam!-, you never have to move. Just make sure you get some damage on them.

2 RepliesThis old tortoise ran a few earlier…using Peacemaker boots + dbl SMGs + HGL For most of the runs, there was a certain fluidity inline with my 2x teammates, and we just moved from one zone to the next, dropped the boss, then scarpered to the next one…rinse and repeat, until the big boss appears, and drop it asap! All good! However, on some runs, I was in with a pair of speedsters…and they had their own plan, which didn’t involve me. 🤔 Someone mentioned down below…dropping a few Witherhord rounds on all zones…at once, leaving me to deal with the flood of ads, just to stay alive! And if I got near a zone where the boss appeared, the number and intensity of all the flashes and explosions meant I had no idea what was happening, so, I then had to give chase to one of the other zones where a boss was appearing…but first, I had to survive the wall of ads, who weren’t too pleased to see me! 😵💫 These speedster duos are a royal pain in the rrrrres! 🤨 That is all. Ease Springs! 🎃

In the normal version the go down just about instantly.

Working fine for me. I’m at 26 on my challenge and all I did was get a shot off on most of em for it to count

Are they really still linked to damage?
