3 RepliesIt’s a little annoying, but also not a big deal. I can’t think of one activity where be run at 2000 and thought, damn - I really wish I was 10 power higher. It is just a number to keep addictive personalities hooked.

1 ReplyDoesn't need to exist rn for 2 reasons. 1) it's too easy, there isn't a challenge behind collecting pinnacles to reach a peaked light level. It shouldn't include casual playlists and instead be a reward for the content you intent to scale. 2) no scaling atm makes it pointless, why get an extra +10 if your capped by a -25 modifier? Just play the game and get +20 from the artifact for content that doesn't lock you into a light level. I want the level grind back, but there has to be a reason for it.

Doing all pinnacle drops dungeons, raids and ritual activities and not to have a pair of boots drop once in 2 weeks is beyond pathetic!!! So for all you trolls out there move gtfo and move on could careless what you think

1 ReplyWith power level shared across all characters it’s super easy to reach pinnacle cap fast, sure a bit of luck is required due to RNG but it’s far easier now than before. Would have been done with it in about 10 days but the class item stretched it to 2 weeks. Didn’t do all the pinnacle activities either, just the fast and easy ones.

7 RepliesI’ve barely paid attention to pinnacles and have already started getting 2009 gear. You must be one of the “I’ve been playing 15 minutes and don’t have the exact roll of the weapon I want… Bungie hates it’s players and is a shat company” type of player

3 RepliesEvery activity is level capped, and you are brought up to the highest members light level. If you’re already 2000 then you’re already over cap for 99% of the activities. If you’re in an activity with a higher than 2000 cap then let someone else grind the pinnacles and keep your sanity.

1 ReplyHey, how so? I'm returning (from when witch quuen came out. 2 weeks and doing only pathfinder and chalanges and I am 2011. Is that good or bad? (I can imagine these people that can do dungeons and raids do get pinnacle upgrades faster)

If you aren't playing Trials, then who cares about Pinnacles? And even then, being 10 Power under will likely only make a difference in close games

It did come out three weeks ago so technically you could say that. Maybe that's how they should announce putting things out from now on. "Festival of the lost has been shat minions!"
