Trials full of cheaters and recovs
Playing people who never miss shots and know exactly where you are every move you make. Also played recovs with .80 kd's and are 5+ KD this week. They literally cheat on other people's accounts and get paid for it and Bungie does absolutely nothing. I report them and nothing ever happens. BO6 is out though so watch as trials goes down below 50,000

Same goes for regular pvp. Players walking through grenades walking through supers as if they're immune to all forms of damage. Just a major reminder what I stopped playing PVP in the first place f up kids cheating like a -blam!- -blam!-.

Bungie refuses to do anything about recoveries, cheaters and ximmers on console simply for the fact of if they did it would further minimize their already low population. And then their shareholders would back out

What’s funny is the little turds doing Crucible quick play and they’re still using things like, Summoner, Igneous Hammer, Forerunner…?…WTH? I understand using these weapons in Trials or some competitive thing, but for quick play or for Travelers sake, IB?!…🤦♂️ we are also not getting into the ones using 3rd party cheats…sigh*…I think people are trying to flex, like ALL the time and it’s mundane. We’re not going to friend request you, we’re not going to ask you to, “sHoW Us tHe WaYs” and we definitely don’t think you’re cool. I’ve come to the conclusion that it has to be some personal thing, I guess 🤷♂️ Edit: I know using Summoner, IH, and Forerunner is not cheating, but it is overkill.

51 RepliesEvery time I mention cheaters in this game and how Bungie does literally nothing about it, some player will counter me and say that I don’t know anything and it’s not a major problem. It’s probably a soy boy cheater commenting. Glad to see I am not the only one who noticed this problem. 1 in 4 trial players cheat or hack, especially on PC platform, and given the small player base, that guarantees you will run into one. The fact that people can buy a flawless run is a clear indication of rampant cheating.

31 RepliesAs a 42yr old adult, who has gamed most of my life, im fairly certain I know the difference between a cheat and a Great/Good player, im sorry to say but Destiny PVP is full of cheats, its so blaring obvious too, the only reason I can think anyone can say otherwise and defend it is simply because they don't have the experience in gaming to tell the difference, or they are part of the problem trying to cover up playing their part! It's absolutely rife in PVP!

14 RepliesI HATE when console players make accusations like this. YOU ARE WRONG. No one is wall-hacking on console. No one is aimbotting on console. YOU ARE WRONG. Now, we can have a conversation about cheats on console and how Bungie might address them. BUT DO NOT LIE OR EXAGERATE THE REAL ISSUES. You're hurting, not helping by exaggerating. I agree that Recoveries are annoying, but you can Report players for that. Also, it doesn't necessarily hurt you to play a Recovery. If anything, the "real" player is handicapped from playing their best, which should give you an advantage that you would otherwise not have had.

9 RepliesBased on the comments here, you can see that many people have no idea how many cheaters there are. Most of the time, such statements come from people who hardly play PvP or are below average. Of course, it's easier to point the finger at others and call them cheaters, but that doesn't reflect reality.

4 RepliesNot to hijack this thread, but I’m quite convinced that more than a handful of Invaders can see through walls / rocks / structures…and never miss a kill shot in one hit…in Gambit. Bygones farming highlights this to the nth… Sus players are one thing…but these creatures take it to a simply unbelievable level of ridiculousness. Ease Springs! 🙄

Not much fun. -
One way to help deter cheaters is to change to 7 wins per week, regardless of losses and let everyone go to lighthouse at least once. It will help lower the incentives to run repeated flawless by using cheating and bring more players back in. And players can still play to rank up the level.

Doesn’t matter today… it appears hardly anyone is playing, I’ve had a couple of games, 3v 2 but mostly been timed out and no match made.
