9 RepliesDestiny pvp is for those who lack gun skill lol
-
I always find it funny when people cry about fusions and shotguns have like 10 times the usage
-
Yeah, they’re not really gunskill. But they do require good/more game sense in order to use well. Shotguns (Mostly movement skill) Snipers (mostly gunskill and aim) Fusions (mostly game sense) They’re very strong but not broken. A skilled player can dominate with them, but newer players struggle even more with them than something like shotguns Just my take tho

5 RepliesDestiny is the most baby mode pvp shooter on the market. Nobody who plays this game's pvp has any gun skill.

Than why are they the least used special weapons Also "Pulse,Scout,SMG,Sidearm, Auto ×10 is the worst meta ever" I wonder which Meta they are trying to push , it's a mystery, which primary do they never complain about even when it's overused 🤔 -
Shotguns****

2 RepliesEdited by Black-Star_32: 10/21/2024 3:02:19 AMOnly one fusion rifle comes to mind in which I totally agree, and that is the Jotunn. All other do take timing and some skill.
-
Yup. They love hiding behind corners with em if not running around using jotuun
-
That's me😁

Shotgun goes boom
-
Snipers and fusions will be irrelevant when the special ammo bar returns except ice breaker
-
>edgy non-normal character username Yup, checks out. You’re just mad someone voop’d you because you were shotgun rushing and got punished.

5 RepliesIf it's so easy to use, use it yourself.

May not need “gunskill” but they obviously got close enough to you. So maybe your awareness is bad. 🤷🏻♂️

As if shotguns are any better?

Have you tried moving out the way?

3 RepliesEdited by NotCreative123: 10/20/2024 6:36:05 PMFusions take skill to use effectively, especially against good players. 1) Require a charge time, so you have to accurately predict when to fire. Good players can peek-shoot, rendering your weapon useless unless you fully commit to sliding a corner. 2) Slug shotguns operate in a similar range without requiring a charge time. A good player with a slug is going to dominate a good player with a fusion, simply due to how these weapons match up. 3) Fusions do not pair well with many weapons. If I use a shotgun, I can fire my handcannon and hotswap to my shotgun for a clean-up. If I use a fusion, I can only ever hotswap FROM my fusion, which limits my effective options and ability to teamshot. 4) If you miss a fusion shot, you're out of luck because the charge rates are slow. You are not going to get a second charge off. Damage resistance and Overshields make Fusions take more than one shot to kill. Fusions can certainly be effective in the right hands, but there is a reason players don't see many fusions in high-end PVP. It is simply difficult to beat players who play cover, use slugs, peek-shoot, and use healing / damage resistance abilities. There is not a clear use case where a fusion is superior to a sniper or shotgun. EDIT: Bonus:Cleaning up kills with a melee is not as easy to do when using a fusion unless you are in close range, and at that point, shotguns are inherently better. EDIT 2: And if you don't believe me.... why are shotguns used FOUR TIMES as often as fusions? Is it because the average player DOESN'T want to win and use the "no-skill" weapon? Or is it because the average player finds shotguns more effective?

5 RepliesBut YOUR gun requires skill right? Just checking the boxes here... Let's see yes, only the guns I like require talent...what you use is broken...yep! Talentless PVPer whining about dying!

Another case of play how I want you too.
