I play this pvp regularly for 10 years now and I still can't get used to it's inconsistancy.
In Destiny 2 PvP the one match i'm God with 4+ k/d and the next match it's like I hold controller for the first time in my life. In these matches (more then half of all matches) my bullets don't do normal damage and the enemies load too slow. So on their screen they are already shooting me and on my screen I don't even see them yet.
The one match my pulse needs 3 bursts and in the other match 6 bursts are not enough for a kill.
But there's one thing that I don't understand: How can streamers every match have the connection to kill the enemy with 2-3 burts. And even with 10% health left they can engage and win gunfights?
Do streamers play on special servers?

1 ReplyIf it's consistently inconsistent, does that make it consistent then ?

2 RepliesIt's what happens with no connection based mm, some matches feel great and everything runs smoothly, and other games feel horrible and aren't even worth playing. Streamers have the same problem but don't usually post those videos on YouTube.

1 ReplyAlmost forgot. They don’t give a fk dude!

I came top in a match once. Boy have I lived to regret that🤣

1 ReplyBecause the matchmaking either puts you with totally random teams. There's no quality or consistency

1 ReplyAll I know is that I have gotten so much worse as time has gone on. I am so bad at this.

1 ReplyEdited by Golden: 10/13/2024 11:28:30 AMThat’s how the game wants it to go, close to 50/50 unfortunately. And before you put on the tinfoil theory, no, streamers do not get special servers. They suffer like we do. Once went into Aztecrosses stream, poor man was 3 +hours into a Trials run looking defeated trying to go flawless lol. I think he couldn’t get pass the 3 or 4th win 😅

1 ReplyIf you are still playing on a PS4 or Xbox One it might explain your situation. Alot of people still do some how...
