Bungie please fix your rng for crying out loud
Come on devs, is it that hard to make sure players don’t get the same pinnacle or higher stat equipment over and over again? I don’t mind grinding but please don’t punish me for it. If I get another bow or side arm when what I need is Armor, I’m going to hurl. Just some balance please. Also, those seasonal engrams we can grab say they drop “gear.” Isn’t armor considered gear? I was turning them in to get higher power armor and have just gotten the same 2 weapons each time. 😳😳 I’m no game dev, so maybe it is too hard but somehow I think you have a team talented enough to fix this. It would be nice.

Some fixes I can think of *have a pinnacle vendor that you turn in for whatever slot you want similar to exotic focusing *each dungeon completion or raid completion adds 10% escalating chance to drop exclusive exotic. (pn 10th completion guaranteed drop) *Allow for unlocked weapons to be bought from collections with random rolls (Bring back shards for this) (raid and dungeon weapons excluded) *change class item attunement to guarantee drop from both columns *option to target loot in raid and dungeons(similar to how division 2 summit works) *have some incentive for people to sherpa higher end content. (maybe exclusive exotic or massive bundle of endgame currency (nightfall ciphers or shards) If people are unable to get the weapons and armor they want they will give up and leave. Everyone pretty much knows by now that they can tip the scales however they want. Players want to make builds and mess around and have fun. If you cant get the items you want to make the builds you want then what's the point in playing.

There is no such thing as true RNG in Destiny. All the RNG generator does is drop you into a particular sample space what you get when you land is entirely down to Bungie. Their algorithms are fully tunable so you comments are entirely valid. They are very stingy.

1 ReplyIt is fixed - as like "this game is fixed" - also known as rigged. The loot isn't there to use in fun & exciting ways after it's acquired. It's in the game to be the fake rabbit the greyhounds chase while they run around the track.

I turned the game straight off. I'm not sure i can go through with this stupid rng duplicate grind again. I'm so done with it. I wouldn't mind the grind if there was some sort of anti duplicate system. It just drains my enthusiasm now.
