Tonic Brewing Guide bugged
So I’ve completed all the main quests for act 1 but when I went to my postmaster I found the quest there I picked it up and now I can’t gather the materials from the shelf to make the Tonic and I can’t delete the quest.
Is there anyway to fix this bug or do I have to wait for a fix?

3 RepliesFinally fixed mine. I was stuck on step 2 of the quest. It was on my 3rd character and my other 2 had completed the quest line. 1. Go to another character and craft a tonic at the table but don’t do anything else. Don’t go to the machine or anything. Just do the table crafting. 2. Switch to bugged character that is stuck at step 2. Go to the Eliksni machine and put the tonic in on this bugged character. This progressed the quest.

Dear destiny vespers dungeon is still bugged for catalyst- and 2 still can’t brew tonics with my warlock and 3rd get rid of salvations edge raid so I can rank up to level 9 I that raid is too hard for me I have a learning disability and certain things I can’t understand I am mostly carried through them to those who need ade clear and those r hard to find .

Bugged at Step 2 for me on secondary character. Prompts me to activate machine, but will not progress.

3 RepliesStep two is bugged where I have to activate the machine. It opens from the side. Click activate does an animation that just goes back to the same state.

It is garbage that this isn’t fixed yet. The main focal point to the season is locked due to a glitched out quest. It wasn’t enough that we only got 20 min of gameplay in act 1 but can’t make potions to take advantage of the new system. Cmon bungie we only got so much time until bo6 comes out… lol

2 RepliesSame exact problem here. Logged on to find a tonic brewing guide that had been abandoned. Honestly have no idea how it happened. Now it's bugged at collect necessary reagents and doesn't progress. I just unlocked a legendary tonic too, now I can't progress on unlocking tonics until this is fixed. please fix it asap Bungie!

Same here, the shelf has the square icon to go to, I click on it and nothing happens. It's kinda blocked my progress.

I have the exact same problem! cannot retrieve any ingredients of the Shelves. Quest went also first to the postmaster!

Edited by TiR3D G33Z3R: 10/12/2024 5:37:10 AMFIX Found.. It seems to not glitch with the Titan at all. However, We found that running the Onslaught playlist appeared to clear the error for other characters; now we did go make that first potion with another character (titan) , then switch back to the character that was stuck; once we ran the Onslaught (with stick character), it progressed back to step 2 but allowed me to create the potion. Hope this works for others. I don't know if making a potion with another character is even necessary, but that's what worked.

1 ReplyThe way i found around this issue is to change to another character make the all the potions you want or need then change back to your main and they are able to be used normally. if you make them on one character any of your character can use them. Really annoying but hopefully this helps.

Have the same problem no PS5. The Quest Tonic Brewing Guide is bugged says to collect the reagents I go there to pick up and doesn’t do anything Because of that can’t use potions in game. Created a lot but doesn’t show up anything and can’t use it in game. Any fix coming?

1 ReplyThink I am stuck on something similar. On my titan I am at the make a tonic step, I can go to the bench and acquire a tonic, the ingredients are taken but then nothing. I don't get either the get ingredients from the wall or the activate on the pedestal to actually create the tonic.

I too have run into this exact same bug. Unable to progress the Tonic Brewing Guide - Stuck on step 1/4 where you're asked to "collect necessary reagent from the shelves nearby". After trying to claim the reagents the quest will not progress, therefore unable to craft any potions until a fix is implemented.

Can confirm, now my Titan main cannot progress the main quest because I cannot gather the ingredient from the shelf because of Tonic brewing guide bug.
