The devs admitted in a recent TWID that team balancing is currently a problem, so don't make people sit through a whole game of abuse when it's obvious in the forst 30 seconds it's gonna end in a mercy. Just take it out at least for now, and if you must put it back in after fixing team balancing.

The "funny" thing is that meanwhile Quick play is the sweatiest game mode and the most cheated on. It's ridiculous. Comp looks like relax mode in comparison.

1 ReplyJust remove pvp
-
Nah people need to stop quitting. If it's an obvious mercy, then just wait 30 seconds for the mercy...
-
Lol, pls no. I hate you all quitters
-
Weak sauce.
-
boo.nope
-
They wouldn’t have a quitting problem if they… you know… FIXED MATCHMAKING/LOBBY BALANCING. But god forbid they solve the ACTUAL problem instead of trying to solve the symptoms alone.

Edited by WAR: 10/6/2024 1:55:43 PMCompletely agree the dumbest thing implemented into the game just makes me want to leave even more and why should we have to deal with dog water teammates or cheaters on the opposite team and if anything it would make people better at the PVP cuz they don't want to lose their teammates from being so bad on top of that you're making the PVP pool even smaller because of all these timeouts🤦, hope Sony starts looking at some layoffs for the PVP strike team

With lack of anicheat doing anything and the amount of xims......remove penalty from everything.
-
No it needs to be there because of the potential that PvP may one day be something that many people may try to run from matches in. This way it will already be in place and people will have learned not to run when bad things happen.

4 RepliesOr just be a decent player and not leave?

The more I played, the more I'm 100% convinced the outcome of the match is predetermined by Bungie algorithms. And it makes me completely uninterested.
-
2 RepliesAgreed. I've hated this feature ever since Halo Reach. PvP was better in the era of no quit bans.

Edited by Guardian, Archon Of Light: 10/6/2024 12:42:29 PMYeah, there should be a casual playlist you can come and go as you please Call it quickplay or something like that But in Trials and Comp, penalties need to be more severe than 30 minutes, that is nothing, 8 hours would make people think twice , and 7 days for habitual leavers
-
Not to mention the increasingly frequent connection issues that get me suspended
-
Would result in even worse matches. You must be a serial quitter if you really can't see how this would make it more horrible.
-
13 RepliesEdited by NotCreative123: 10/5/2024 10:13:53 PMThey also said that quitting results in unbalanced teams, because it's nearly impossible to find players who have a similar skill as the one who left. Quitting penalties leads to fewer players quitting leads to fewer lopsided games. This ain't rocket science. If you commit to play, then play. If you want to leave, then deal with the consequences. Bungie's game, Bungie's rules.

Obviously this is a post from a serial quitter and shouldn't be taken seriously.
