Weapon Sandbox is stagnant

So sure I’m bad at pvp but man…. Since the season of messenger desperado/ fusion meta, I am seeing less and less of anything but pulse rifles. Sure you see scouts and 120hc…. But…. It just feels like the sand box has been getting more stagnant over the years as far as weapon choices go. Maybe nerf all the pulse rifle reload stats to 0 at base? Afterall, given its ease of use and fast ttk…. Why allow someone to hold a lane by themselves by just spraying at any movement without having to play smart and conserve shots before being vulnerable during a reload? It’s not like the weapon doesn’t already have enough ammo in a 340rpm to elim 4-6 guardians with one clip with good shots. Why allow them to basically become a better version of sweet business without a draw back? Also…. Have you noticed that your hc’s have like a 75% dmg drop off where pulse rifles don’t? Used to hit 17’s on headshots with a 140 after falloff and still fry someone with a pulse with an extra burst after hard falloff….. that is not balanced. Same issue with scouts…. How is it that 180’s have no drop off but can achieve a free .6ttk with box breathing cross map? 150’s have faster ttk than a 140hc while being across map? Yet 120rpm scouts have dmg falloff akin to an adept messenger pulse…. I simply do not understand how the sandbox is balanced…. You have scouts out ttk’ing close range options without the danger or chaos….. please make it make sense. This has been a pain point for me for years.
